The Jimmy John's on Harlem in Palos Heights is absolutely amazing! I thought they messed up my order so I called and spoke with... the manager. Not only he didn't question me but he took care of the problem. However, when I went home I found out that I wasactually the only who messed up!!! I was the one who made the mistake. So I called the manager back and apologized and he wasabsolutely gracious about it. He laughed and understood how I could have messed up. I can't believe I did that but not only theorder was made perfectly to EXACTLY what I requested, but they were so nice to me when I made the mistake. I was really gratefulfor how nice they were. The bread was hard and my other sandwich was missing. I called the store and the employee that answered was very rude, after I... explained to him 1 of my sandwiches was missing. I ordered on door dash, but apparently they use their own drivers throughdoordash is what I was told when calling. I ordered @12:35 and just received my order @2:10pm when I checked on my porch afterit said my order was complete. They didn't message me, knock, or even ring the door bell so how do you know when they drop offyour food. I was just told they don't message. My bag was ripped open with my chips out of the bag and only 1 sandwich not the 2sandwiches I ordered. The employee I spoke with asked did I still want the other sandwich of course I paid for it unless I geta refund. The bad part of it all I paid an $8.00 tip over the suggested amount and this is the type of service I received. Very disappointed will never order there again. Read more
The bottoms of the bread on both sandwiches were pretty hard. I was able to knock on it with my knuckles pretty hard and not... cause any damage to the bread. I even had to put my weight onto my knife just to cut through. One wasn't as bad as the other. Mychild was still able to eat it. Edit: "sorry the bread wasn't perfect!" I don't need perfect, just edible. Please don't becondescending. I have ordered from this location again. Definitely better the next time although I did not receive everything Iordered and WAS charged for it. At least I was able to eat this time. Maybe they need a few tries ? Read more
Their hours are incorrect. They're definitely not open until 9pm.
