We were in the area and stopped in Paloma for a late lunch - there wasn't a restaurant open in Camp Point between 2 and 4 pm! It... was just what we were hoping for. The burgers and sandwiches were great, the service was fast and friendly, the prices werereasonable and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. Fries were like Steak 'n Shake fries - thin and crispy. Excellent!!! They take very good care of you here! Cozy diner with hard working folks working .... and visiting here! Very... friendly and Great food. I came about 10 mins after breakfast closed and they changed to lunch. I came from Quincy Holiday Inn(I came back here last January, flew in from NH and had excellent breakfast) and was really coming for the breakfast. THEYACCOMMODATED ME!! Went here for breakfast. A very nice little restaurant where the staff become family.
