Had heard some not-so-great reviews originally about this location but went and tried anyway... both the service staff and food... was great!! For the Baja fish tacos, the soft taco shells were the perfect balance of crispy and yet still soft, and the pico degallo was a great touch - though could have been a tad bit spicier. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu andattentive, the manager also came by to say hi and thank us for coming out that evening. Surprised that this place was not morepacked! Read more

I have a high tolerance for bad service and a lot of empathy for local business. However, what I saw at Mike's was a first and... way beyond acceptable. I visited Mike's recently, and the owner was drunk and belligerent to customers to the point the copswere called. Avoid at all costs. Read more

Cozy place, friendly staff, delicious food. I've had pizza a couple of times, pasta, the daily specials, desserts, and... everything has always been tasty. Food is not greasy or heavy. Try some of their signature cocktails! Read more

Very nice pizza, pasta and Italian entrées restaurant. The atmosphere and feeling is that of a friendly and high quality... neighborhood restaurant. The food is very nice, and so are the wines and the service. Everyone in the family (age 6 to 55) werehappy. We will come back! Read more

My husband and I were so excited to try Mike's after it re-opened, and we were pretty let down. Tldr; food was meh, service was... meh, and overall the experience did not justify the price. First, the bread. First basket was cold to the touch and whollyunderwhelming, second basket was warm and had olives (we think) in it. Why the inconsistency, but not a big deal. Second, theservice. We just had sort of strange interactions with our waitress where we'd ask a question and she'd just walk away. Thishappened a few times and we were just sort of left confused about why the communication was so awkward. Third, the soup. We gotthe minestrone soup as an appetizer and that was honestly the best dish of the night. Tasty, a little lukewarm which wasstrange, but we would order that again. Fourth, the pesto pasta. It was so oversalted and oily that 1/3 into my dish, I had nodesire to keep eating. Really disappointed. Fifth, the fig and prosciutto pizza. It was meh. The prosciutto looked like it hadbeen slapped on top, and the pizza over at Pizzeria Delfina is much better. For a soup and two entrees (not even specials!) wepaid $65 post tax and tip. Very meh and we will likely not be back. Read more

Mike?s has been closed since I moved to Mountain View, so it was interesting to go as someone who hadn?t been. My wife had gone... as a child and remembered the original place. The service was good, we needed reservations even though it was a soft opening.Food was all tasty especially the Eggplant Parmesan, crisp any cheesy without being slimy, oily, or too heavy. Pizza was good, although the crust was a little thick. Read more
