Polite staff are the only reason I'd give this restaurant any stars at all. Food was flavorless, unimaginative, and of... questionable freshness. Chips were stone cold and salsa was little more than boiled tomatoes and water. Everything about thisculinary experience was a disappointment and nothing about it warranted the $20 per person we spent. I have absolutely no ideahow they've managed a 4.2 star rating given the complete absence of flavor and quality we observed in everything that came outof the kitchen. My recommendation is an unequivocal "avoid". Read more

Food is superb, savory and one of the finest tasting Mexican places we have been to in the Tampa/St.Pete/Bradenton/Sarasota... region. Place is in a run down shopping center, but don't let that fool you. Inside is beautifully decorated that you wouldn'tknow it from the outside. We came at roughly 2:30pm on a Saturday afternoon and it was almost empty. We thought maybe Yelp hadled us astray once again. But not this time. Yelp was spot on. The food is outstanding. I had the California Burrito and my wifehad the Flautas. Both excellent choices. We will definitely be coming back here. Read more

First time there and will definitely be back. Fresh salsa and chips meals were great. So full with the large beer added in,... couldn't eat the rest of the day. Read more

This was just okay for me. The positives: The frozen margarita probably was the best thing visiting here. It's also a very... festive looking business......actually really nice inside. Staff are friendly. Menu is pretty big. I would probably go back fordrinks, but my dinner was bland....so I definately wouldn't order the same thing. I had the chicken and steak fajitas....themeat was dry. The chips didn't taste fresh and the salsa tasted more like a cooked tomato sauce then fresh salsa. It was over$100 for a few drinks and two dinners....pretty pricey. I probably would venture out there again in the future....but there'sother places I have on the list to try first. Read more

What a nice surprise to find this place! My Mom and I Googled ?Mexican Restaurant near me? and this popped up. The decor is fun... and festive when you enter and lively music is playing. They have lots of booths to sit in and large tables if you have a biggroup. Isabel was our server and was helpful to us first timers in the menu selections and even let me practice some of mySpanish I?ve been learning. The salsa was fresh and had cilantro which I love. Silky white cheese dip and a side of salsa verde(green based) to dabble our chips in. We both had the burrito lunch special that came with rice and beans and guacamole, lettuceand tomatoes and sour cream. Great experience and will be returning soon. Read more

I'd give this place 5 stars, but for its location ( a strip mall). The interior is wonderfully decorated with vibrant colors and... new tables/ booths. They had a fun mariachi band, & since it was my Birthday; they played their version of "Happy Birthday ".But, it's the food that stole the show! My oldest ordered a chicken / rice dish (Pollo Azado...I believe) ,that lookedplain...but tasted amazing! My youngest ordered a fajita ("Del Mar") plate that was just packed with shrimp and crab...so good!My wife kept it simple with a classic taco salad ( crust was flakey, great) and I had something called a "Molcajete". This camein a stone bowl and had shrimp, steak ,chicken, cactus and a smokin' hot ,bacon wrapped jalepeno on top. It came with a plate ofbeans, rice and typical Mexican sides ,plus tortillas. The Molcajete was exceptional!! I mean, seriously good. I didn't want tostop eating it! But, it was a lot of food! Look...ignore how it looks outside and go on in!! If you like Mexican food and want afun, clean environment with great service and crazy good food....this is it! Read more
