Reviews for La Rosa Southwestern Dining in Palmer Lake, CO
Super casual, great service, amazing food. I had the traditional margarita and it was the best margarita I've had in a long... time. The salsa was spicy with a sweet note provided by corn. Chips were fresh from the fryer. I always order enchiladas thefirst time I visit a Mexican restaurant - the green was unusual and excellent. The side of guacamole was perfect. Finished withtres leches cake for a perfect finish. Everything was fresh and tasty. I'll definitely be back. No pictures this time. Read more
Usually love the local restaurant vibe but there are definitely things on the menu to get every time and things that I would not... get again. Recommend the burger and ahi tuna tacos. Coke was also quite flat so not sure what was up with that Read more
Always a great dinner. I can't recommend any of the normal menu because I've had the special every time, as they're always... intriguing, such as pumpkin enchiladas. Read more
First time & Food was good. We had Planko Shrimp and Pork Enchiladas with chipotle sauce, however...sooo slow! After ordering it... took 45 minutes for dinner to arrive for both us and the table next to us (and it wasn't crowded). Another 20 minute wait justfor the bill. It's too bad ????, good food but poorly managed. Read more
Food was wonderful, cozy venue. Our server was also great! However, the host who greeted us was terribly rude to us and to the... party that came in behind us! He swore at us for daring to show up without a reservation. Definitely the most unwelcoming entryto a restaurant I have had. Read more
This is a great place to enjoy New Mexico-style food. Warm chips, delicious salsa, excellent margaritas, and very high quality... main dishes. I recommend visiting Mon-Thu. Weekends can be busy. Read more
The food here was really good! We ordered from the brunch menu and we weren't disappointed. The mimosas came out in a decent... volume and the breakfasts were delicious! Gluten free available. They didn't have a kids menu available for the brunch so we hadleftovers. We wore masks to our table and were spaced out to where we didn't need them inside. Once more people came we woremasks and the waitresses wore them as well. Read more
Our first time at La Rosa..the staff was very accommodating and the service was great..there were nine of us at the table and... our food arrived closely together to enjoy our dining...my wife and I chose the wild caught cod enchiladas..they tasted okay butwe're very tough..our friends each had a different entree and relayed there's was very good..So, next time we dine there mychoice will be different and will probably enjoy it more.
