Wonderful atmosphere and service! The architecture and decor is worth a visit. My pot roast left something to be desired though.... Based on other reviews, I would visit again but order something different. Read more

Our family was planning a Sunday Family Day and going to Echo Hill Orchards. We called Steaming Tender to see if they could... accommodate our party of 16 for Sunday dinner. The hostess was so friendly and welcoming! We were delighted when we arrived. Ourserver was outstanding and so friendly. She made several suggestions for appetizers and entrees and we all loved our food! Wehad such a wonderful dining experience and family dinner. I highly recommend! Read more

The burger was well cooked (medium was really medium.) Wife had the haddock with lobster sauce and the broccoli had a honey... mustard with crasains. Bread pudding flight was whiskey, strawberry rhubarb, and blueberry. Highly recommended. It's in an oldtrain depot so there's lots of history to look at too. Read more

The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was super helpful and nice! The homemade style cornbread was out of this world!!! I... would go back just to eat that and be completely happy! I had the haddock as my meal and I had never had this fish before, as Iam from the south. I did enjoy it for the most part. I also got to enjoy the bread pudding as a dessert and it was fantastic! The entire experience was great and I highly recommend dining here. The manager/ owner was so sweet and nice. Read more

We stopped in for lunch over the weekend. Menu is comprehensive with something for everyone. Prime rib sandwich with fries... and chicken salad wrap were very good and the clam chowder was excellent. Great place to bring kids too..real trains to see andyou might see a train whiz past while you eat your lunch. Outside seating is available. Service was excellent with lots ofwait staff. Very cool inside so bring long sleeves! Read more

Charming and fun location with great food and service. Portions are fairly large. My niece and I visited this place last night.... I had the halibut baked in limoncello sauce with artichokes and sun-dried tomatoes. It was different and very good. My nieceordered the mac & cheese with barbecued pulled pork on top and said hers was very good too. I tasted the mac & cheese it wasvery rich. In fact all the food we ordered was rather decadent. For an appetizer we got the cranberry cheese chutney which wasexcellent, and for dessert their specialty warm whiskey butter bread pudding, which is to die for. We both brought most of ourentrees home to have room for dessert. Our waiter Chido was entertaining and very helpful. While we were there, a train raced bythe big windows, which only added to the ambience. Read more

Great atmosphere and good food. Also, the portions were very big and I loved their service. Although it is very crowded at... times, I believe it is a good place to try out, and even revisit repeatedly. Highly recommend. Read more
