Loved this little lakeside place. Grabbed a late lunch there with my wife. There was plenty of seating and parking. I had the... fish and chips which was excellent. Also had a bowl of clam chowder which was excellent. It was very thick and creamy. If we areever back in the area is love to go back to try some of their other menu items. Terrible experience. Should've read the reviews, service was great, had some issues with the food(definitely not fresh). Brought... it to the owners attention and his "response" or lack thereof, was like he was annoyed that anyone would question his 5 starchef! After reading all the reviews EVERYTHING makes sense. He was rude and didn't apologize or try to fix it. Just makingexcuses. Looking at the reviews he doesn't accept responsibility for even one negative review, just bashing ppl. This guy mustbe a sociopath. He only addresses the negative comments, yet attacks one review for having "one" bad experience and leaving anegative review?? Taking about families needing "professional" help, in his response, wow very professional of you sir. Theclams smell like urine, the drinks were good, The waitress was very nice and apologetic. The best part is in one of hisresponses he said "I never do this" what a ????. Won't be going here again. Service was slow, but that's usually not something that bugs me because I've worked in the food... industry for a long time. The problem is the food was really not good. It didn't smell good when it was dropped off at our tableand most of it even smelled bad. We barely ate anything more than some of the fries. I am also appalled at the incredibly rude,unprofessional responses by the restaurant. Seems they do not take criticism well and can't handle hearing about theirmistakes/areas of improvement. Edit to add: only liar here is the restaurant themselves. It's not being entitled to expect ahalf decent meal for the $55 bill, and it wasn't even half decent! Lol, regardless if the food was raw vs rotten, neither one isa good thing. I'm sure if you look in your tape you'll see all the food on the napkin instead of the plate and being broughthome for the dogs. You are disgusting, rude, and clearly don't care about your business. I had the lobster mac and cheese and it was so decadent. My husband had the fisherman's platter and also loved it. Nobody had... any complaints about their food and it was a nice relaxed atmosphere. Read more
This is currently our favorite restaurant. The menu has a lot to choose from and their daily specials have something for... everyone. The seafood is always fresh and tasty, and they also make mean Bourbon steak tips. Their waitstaff is as top notch astheir food. All the stars! Read more
We both had fish and chips. The fish was fresh. Hubby like it but didn't like the breading all that much, it was cornmeal based.... He's used to beer batter. Nice views, relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff. Read more

This has been me and my wife?s lunch spot the days she works from home. We have always had great food and great service. I just... stopped in a few weeks ago by myself and same results. Nice view across the street to boot. I do have a piece of advice for theowner as I skimmed the reviews. Do not attack the bad reviews. It is not a good business decision and will cost you more than afew bad reviews ever will. You just simply apologize and move on. If something is absolutely not true than just nicely alertother possible customers that what is being said is not what took place. Don?t make it personal even if the reviewer seems to.The business always has to rise above and the owner has to smile even if they really want to tear the person apart. Read more
