I really don't care to leave bad reviews but we came last weekend with another couple and we were not impressed. Our waitress... was nice but the rolls left much to be desired. My go to safe roll when trying new sushi places is the baked salmon but this onewas so unappealing that I couldn't get more than 2 bites down. I've never had one with so much white sauce on it either. Out ofthe 5 rolls that we shared I only liked two of them and they both had the spicy tuna in them. Read more

Review for January 17th 2022. I am currently sampling as many sushi places in the antelope valley as possible. Bluemaki Sushi... is located in the spot where the old all-you-can-eat Big Tuna place used to be at. I am definitely not guilty, to say l rememberwhen I used to come here with palomita ( when it was big tuna) to eat. So many great memories. Besides that, the sushi here wasalright. This sushi restaurant is just OK with some things that are pretty good. The sashimi quality was pretty good but the other more... American options (for my daughter who isn't very adventurous) are not too good. Tempura was extremely greasy and the fried rice(I know, not a typical sushi restaurant offering or something to rate a restaurant on) was dominated by a smokey/burnt flavorfrom ham that was mixed in. Prices were pretty high compared to other sushi restaurants in the area. The atmosphere was veryawkward with make-shift plexi-glass and piping holding up dividers. It felt very 2020 despite the restaurant having 2 years tofigure out a more permanent solution. Read more
