Reviews for The Heyday in Palm Springs, CA
The food was great, just a tad pricey for a very classic smash burger. Had the late night fries, plenty of fries to share with... 2-3 people. Many extra napkins were needed. Read more
Amazing spot with one of the best veggie (mushroom-based patty) burgers I've ever had. Crinkle cut fries were also crispy and... perfect and the service was quick and friendly. Read more
Walk into the hotel and enter this seeming hotel lounge only to find a delish burger joint right there at your fingertips. ... Seemed pretty new when we went, drinks were outstanding (it is a hotel lounge / bar after all). Burgers were fanstaic and friesportion very generous. This drunk shirtless guy walked in from the pool and randomly bought me a Corona which was a first butcertainly welcomed! Read more
Simple, clean, and oh so delicious. Don't expect a major menu here, you come for the burger. Although I will say, the salad I... had was unexpected flavoring and surprisingly very very good. It had a lemon zest type of dressing and I was shocked, delicious. The burger is essentially in n out 2.0. They start with clean beef and season it just enough... its loose packed andsmashed for the epic experience in your mouth. The bun is soft and could maybe use a slight more grilling for my preference butthis is definitely safe for the masses and nothing to complain about whatsoever, quite the contrary actually. I typically getthe grilled onions on the side because they're delicious and I like to ratio Them out myself. I have ordered a single and adouble, I find the single to be preferred meat to ingredient and bun ratio of the double. The fries when ordered well done areabout as good of a fry experience you can get anywhere. Again, plain, clean, simple, crinkle cut fries that are delightfullycrispy on all the edges and soft and meaty in the middle. Whether your a local like myself or visiting, this is highlyrecommended. Enjoy! Read more

These smash burgers are the best burgers I've had in Palm Springs. They have a great crust and are very flavorful. The crinkle... fries were perfectly crusty and the salad was very good as well. We'll be coming back here next time we're in town. Read more
When I found out that we were going to Palm Springs, I researched the areas "Must Do Lists" and saw The Heyday named in a few... articles. I watched a review on YouTube that stated the burgers were amazing, and decided that we had to try them for ourselves. They did not disappoint! We had the original Smash Burger and Late Night Fries. Perfection. I loved the burger which was cookedwith crispy edges and the toppings enhanced the patty without overpowering it. The loaded fries took me right back to college, they were a fun treat and the portions were overflowing. The burgers are the star, but the ambiance is what steals the show. Theatmosphere is chill and relaxed, with low lighting and a fun soundtrack playing at just the right volume. You can enjoy a drinkand a quiet conversation. It's a modern take on an ultra lounge vibe with a variety of seating options and a bar bathed in awarm blue glow. The crew is friendly and laid back, and encouraged to be themselves since there is no uniform. Eileen, one ofthe managers, took great care of us and was very engaging. Since we were staying in the hotel, we decided to return the nextnight as well. Eileen recognized us immediately and was incredibly welcoming. She mentioned our return visit to Brad, the owner, who then came to our table to visit. He was very personable and thanked us for joining them for dinner. The food is delicious, the beer and wine were lovely, and the prices are exceptional. The Heyday started as a pop up before landing in this brick andmortar location in the Hilton. I love supporting a local operation that takes pride in its product and presentation, with a crewthat enjoys creating an inviting setting. I hope that Hilton appreciates the cool vibe that this establishment brings to thetable. Read more
