Simply delicious with quality ingredients! I indulged on tofu noodles stir fry, club sandwich, lavender latte w/oatmilk, and... Pom Iron smoothie. I liked the latte so much, I bought a bag of Joshua Tree Coffee whole beans to go! Anthony took my order &is a sweetheart ?? He was very helpful with recommendations - go see him! Its like a vegan oasis in the desert. Cafe style food, smoothies and drinks. Service was great, it did not take much time for... them to bring our order. The location is good and so the ambience. Seating is pretty good and ample. Good selection as well for vegan and... vegetarian. That?s said, the taste is really not there. Vegan does not mean bland or simple. Ginger, onion, black salt, andlots more species can make it very good to eat. The food we ordered was bland, on the colder side and with no taste. Wanted to have one more date shake before leaving the area & ending the 4th of July weekend. Looked up one near Elmer's & an... Espresso Date shake sounded enticing so I made my way over. ITEM'S ORDERED: There were many options but I went with theEspresso Date Shake. TASTE: So for those who haven't been, as the name implies, this is a health food store. With that saidthis Espresso Date Shake I'd classify as more of a smoothie than a truly decadent milk shake. That isn't a bad thing, it's justdifferent. It's vegan & made with soy ice cream, soy milk Fresh Espresso, Shields Crystallized Dates & Bananas. As a coffeelover I enjoyed the bitter flavor the coffee adds to the fruity (not overbearing) sweetness supplied by the dates. I alsoenjoyed the texture of the chewy date pieces. I'm not sure if it's because I bought this in a health store or it's because it'svegan, but I did feel "less guilty" after having this shake. Don't worry it's still pretty creamy even for not being dairybased. It's not a knock on the shake, but if you already know you don't like the flavor of soy milk that flavor is of coursepresent here, so just FYI. SERVICE, LOCATION & PARKING: You really get that local, independent shop when you enter & I likethat about this place. The employee who took my order was friendly & I very much appreciated how he genuinely asked how I likedthe shake & said I should come back again when in town. Nature?s is really great - they have a very large menu of juices, smoothies, and elixirs, as well as a lot of delicious food.... They have a great selection of supplements and powders and health foods here. Big bulk section in the back and different milksat the back of the store. Sometimes they have someone that gives B12 shots. At this time, all outdoor seating is closedunfortunately. They must be short staffed and don?t have the manpower to clean the tables outside.
