They were able to squeeze me in on Memorial Day weekend when it was really busy, as I was by myself and had just walked up. The... first thing I noticed was that everyone on staff was speaking Italian to each other?a good sign. Sure enough, the pasta I gotwas flavorful, plentiful, and perfectly al dente. The caesar salad and bread were also super fresh and delicious. My only regretis that I had a hard time finishing it all because the portions are so generous. The only Italian restaurant in the desert (that we have tried) that cooks their pasta perfectly. Al dente to perfection, just... right! Love their sauces. Not what you expect from an Italian restaurant on main street palm springs. The home-made sangria was okay. The lasagna's sauce... felt like something you get out of a can. The tortellini tasted bland. The cheeses in the tortellini felt flavorless, the saucewas regular, but not creamy..more on the watery side. The bread they serve has absolutely no flavor, like when you know you areeating a cheap bread. The service was great, the waiters were very friendly. They really need to work on their flavors. We leftfeeling like we ate italian food we ordered at a fast food restaurant at a mall. One of the pluses was the live music. Read more
