Me and my friends liked John’s restaurant overall! We liked the french toast it was really good! My biscuits and gravy was ok.... Lacked flavour, the biscuits were very basic. Prices were reasonable. You order first and pay and are given a number and youjust pick your own seats and they bring your order out to you. So its like a sit down fast food place. Staff are friendly.Plenty of parking. Didn't realize that breakfast was served all day (so I'm kicking myself a little) but I had a carne asada burrito. It was... pretty plain (rice, refried beans, onions), but it tasted Really Good. I should have asked if they had guacamole. I liked thesalsa that came with the burrito. The staff looked happy and the place was clean. I would visit again. Read more

Previously, I'd only been here for breakfast, which I always enjoy. My friends wanted to go here for dinner. I was a little... worried about service since you order at counter then someone brings your food when it is ready. It turned out to be a reallygreat experience. The staff were all so warm, welcoming, and eager to attend to your every need. We all had a great time.Multiple staff checked on us throughout the meal, kept our water glasses filled, and even brought soda and tea refills. The foodwas solid for burgers and fries. One of the best vegetarian omelette we have had. Must visit brunch diner in Palm Springs. It is fast in service, super tasty and... pocket friendly. Amazing place! Good food. i had their santa fe burger. huge portions. great flavor. Reasonable prices. Their seasoned fries are delicious. Nice... and relaxed atmosphere. Tends to be crowded at times, but the service is quick and great attention to the customers. One of myfavorite restaurants when visiting palm springs. You got to try their burgers, the best in tow. Super quick service after PRIDE parade! Got the Greek chicken pita, fried Zucchini and a corn dog and two large draft... sodas...for $23! Prices are more then reasonable, quality is above average and service is still friendly under pressure. Largebooths, great retro diner feel and quick cook times. Greek chicken pita had generous portion of seasoned chicken, which wasmoist and full of flavor. Fresh sliced tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers ad a very tasty classic gyro yogurt sauce(tzatziki). Fried Zucchini was super crispy, and generous portion, like 12 spears, with two ranch sauces. Corndog, crispyoutside and great flavor! Super impressed & definitely recommend. Read more

John's sports the classic diner vibe and they serve what you expect from a diner - plus a lot of Mexican dishes. While we were... there, the restaurant was clean and the staff was masked. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered a breakfastquesadilla and an omelette with hash browns. The omelette was excellent. The breakfast quesadilla was adequate, but lacked muchin the way of flavor. Also, the food wasn't very warm as it sat for some time waiting to be brought to our table. Overall,John's is a nice place. My only suggestion is for a bit more attention to detail to ensure excellent food for the customers. Read more

John’s Restaurant is a great place to visit. Families, couples and singles will all enjoy this easy going atmosphere. Parking... can be full, however there is plenty of street parking. Ordering is quick paced as you walk up to the order counter. You willbe responsible for carrying your drinks and dining ware. The atmosphere can be loud with lots of conversations around you. There are a few dining tables outside to also enjoy. Customer service is always friendly and fast. The food is always good. Ihave been here many times for breakfast and dinner. I have not had a bad meal here. The food isn’t life changing however,it’s good and consistent. In these pictures I share with you the salmon salad and the ribs. Ribs are available after 4pm onFridays and I believe on one of the weekend days. Well worth it and for me, the best tasking ribs in town. They are not justthe flavor of the sauce, but of the meat themselves. They always fall off the bone. I am truly impressed. I highly recommendJohn’s Restaurant! Read more
