Outdoor seating with buildings and a big tree to provide cover from the sun. I went here twice in 3 days. I had breakfast tacos... for the first time and they were terrific. I recommend the spicy mango margarita. Try not to sit near the speakers cuz it canget loud, but the music is part of the atmosphere. It seems most all of the staff speak Spanish if that's your native tongue. Everyone is very friendly and service oriented. Check out my pictures and give me a thumbs up on my review if you agree with it Read more

El Patio does not disappoint! If you love Mexican food this is a MUST in Palm Springs. We stumbled upon this restaurant while... walking around about a year ago and went back last week and it was just as good as we remembered. Started off with a MangoMargarita. They come in big glasses and are blended. Then I got the ceviche and it was so amazing!!! I highly recommend ElPatio!! Read more

Very authentic Mexican food! Beside their superior quality food I highly recommend their cocktails. Not so sweet like most... places. Must try their Spicy Margarita! Hint of spiciness with a slice of lime and lemon, very fresh taste. The indoor diningjust as nice as outdoor dining, service is good here and it seems everyone has a good attitude. For sure will come back! Read more

Cute, authentic, Mexican restaurant situated in a patio between the kitchen and another business. Lively music, great service,... and most importantly, good food. I ordered their nachos, and enjoyed every last bite of it! We went during brunch and were luckyenough to be seated right away. However, shortly after we arrived there was a wait. You can tell it?s busy all day. We scootedby it the previous day and saw it by chance. It was busy then and decided to return the next day. Glad we did! Read more

Went here for lunch as our hotel room around the corner wasn?t ready yet. The shrimp aguachili had lots of shrimp and... vegetables. Perfect balance of spiciness. Complementary chips/salsa were replenished regularly as were the drinks weordered. The taquitos were good, but not as much flavour as I?d hope from a Mexican restaurant. Not bad, but Verymild. Overall a great experience Read more

Got off a cruise ship in Long Beach and set out on a mission to find some damn good Mexican food and POW???????? El... Patio..... . This place had fast and friendly service. The wait was less than 5 minutes and it was on a day with a local artfestival, which was cool all in itself. . The Margaritas were tasty and full of flavor. Others mentioned they did not taste thetequila and thats how it's supposed to be when its made right. Well done guys???? . The food was amazing and hit the spot justright after a week on a boat! Can't say enough about the flavor of the food. Not smothered in sauce and not slapped on a platefull of beans and rice. Food with style! Just the right amount to satisfy! Thanks for not overdoing the portions! . . Theenviroment was definatley inviting and relaxing. I will be putting this on my next trip to CA as a stop coming in fromAZ! . Can't wait to visit again???? We were attracted to the location due to a happy hour sign, but we were never offered happy hour. I didn?t try their food, but a... lot of options were available on the menu. Expect to pay $20+ for a plate. Went in to try to find the best margarita in town.Margarita was not very strong, seemed like a flavored slushy. Costumer service was good at first, but once we went to the backbar area to be seated, they kind of forgot about us?maybe because we were just getting drinks? Dog friendly, which is greatlyappreciated. Read more

El Patio is owned by the same people who run Felipe's but I think the ambiance and food here is waaay better. The outdoor... seating with the fire and the trees is perfect during the winter season and pandemic. The service is prompt and friendlystarting with the nachos and dip. You can ask for the spicy dips if that's your thing. The food portions are great compared toother Mexican restaurants where it usually feels like there's too much rice and beans but here, the amount is just right foryour entree. My dad and I ordered from the seafood entrees and our meals were very tasty. The place can get crowded so best tobe early for lunch. Some tourists seated behind me were raving about how good and tender the meat was in their burrito, likenon-stop so that must have been good too. Read more
