Our wine was delicious (tenshon Cab from Paso Robles), and we had carpaccio, hamachi crudo, blistered shisitos as apps. Then... the Salmon; the vegan delicate squash and the Stroxxapreti pasta. Our server, Samara was fantastic. We will definitely beback. Read more

Their restaurant by the pool is beautiful and romantic. - however, I feel the maitre?d is a bit inappropriate. We left our room... for dessert and a night cap at 20 minutes before 8:00 on a Sunday night. The 10 bar seats were full, so we asked if we couldget a seat at one of the tables. Only about 20% of the tables were full and they close at 9:00. We were told by the maitre?dthat they were fully booked. We waited another 20 minutes for two bar seats to open up. Only four more tables got seated inthat last hour. Maybe it is their policy not to seat bar and dessert guest at the tables, but then lying to hotel guest andsaying they were fully booked kinda tainted what had been a great stay. Think we will choose another hotel for our next visit Read more

This was an outstanding venue for our sons wedding rehearsal dinner. The cabanas were beautifully adorned in white and silver... which was a beautiful contrast to the dark green and white and the beautiful vintage palm fabric that adorned all of theaccompanying furniture. It was very ?old Hollywood?. It is lit with tiki torches and a fire pit and it provides beautifulambience for a special event. The event coordinator, Marlena, was outstanding! She had regular and reliable communication, withaccurate details and cost fully described before we moved forward with our event. This is an outstanding venue for a specialevent or just for dinner. Will be back! Read more

Every bite was delicious ????!! I got the crispy pork belly appetizer, and the salmon main course. Both plates were on the... "petite" side, however the amazing flavor and exquisite preparation and presentation more than made up for it. The pairingswithin each plate might seem a little odd on paper, but the contrast of sweet and savory within complemented each otherperfectly! Definitely on my go to list of restaurants, especially if I am in the mood to "treat" myself to something reallynice. Atmosphere was very nice, and service with 100% professional and friendly. I'm having a hard time rating this restaurant. The service was fabulous. It's very pretty. And it's eye-wateringly... expensive, even for Palm Springs. Lunch for two (two meals and two glasses of wine) was $100 plus tip. Beware--the lunch menuis VERY limited. My wife had some sort of club sandwich, and enjoyed that very much. I decided to spring for the Salmon ($30).The tiny portion size was shocking at that price.. (See photo) It was well prepared. It was quality fish. and it was FIVEBITES. No sides, just salmon and garnish. Did I mention it was $30? So six bucks a bite... I can't recommend a restaurantthat so egregiously overcharges. Read more

Seriously disappointing menu and woefully overpriced. This place is all show and no go. It?s an exceptionally well designed and... decorated dining room and the service is very good, but that?s all you?re getting and you?re expected to overpay for it atthat. The cocktails were completely uninspiring. Nearly every drink is a rebranded classic that you could have easily orderedoff menu. The only interesting drink on the menu is priced at $22 as if existing in some kind of alternate reality. I didn?teven bother with it. The same can be said of the food. Dull, uneventful dishes of meager portions and costing a smallfortune. This place seems to be completely ignorant of the restaurant competition in Palm Springs. Avoid it at all costs. Read more

Stopped by for drinks before dinner. We were able to snag some seats at the bar. We had the Purple 86, the nineteen thirty... six, and the Chita Rivera. All the drinks were really good. Have to say I was partial to my Chita Rivera - jalapeño infusedtequila. Alex was our bartender - relatively new to the area but made great drinks. The dinner menu looked great but wealready had reservations elsewhere. Took some pics outside of the pool scene which looked super cool. Good location /proximity to town. Will have to stay for a night and have dinner. ???????????????? Read more

I originally stayed here in 2018 and I really enjoyed my stay. However, the hotel needed a lot of tlc. The hotel has recently... been renovated and is under new management so I thought I?ll dine at the restaurant while I was visiting PS and check therenovation out as well. The hotel has been beautifully transformed bringing out its original character, so I was really excitedto have dinner at the restaurant the moment I stepped on the grounds. The menu however was extremely disappointing, choices wereextremely limited and they were not many vegetarian options. Bread and butter was under the appetisers section which I thoughtit was funny and all main courses were priced above 30 dollars. For the prices (which felt more like I was dinning in LA ratherthan PS) I would have excepted for the food to be ?Michelin-star? amazing, but it was below average. My check for a drink and amain course came up to 80 dollars! Highly recommend Mr Lyons over this? wasn?t even worth 30 dollars! pretty amazing cocktailsthough. Highly recommend coming for the ambiance and the drinks. Read more
