First time here and what a pleasant surprise. A gem of a sports bar. Clean, great staff. Most of all delicious food. Yum.
Every time this place opens under a new name?I give it a chance, Lake 85 is no different than the three previous... establishments?I wish I could tell you about the food and how much we spent, but I guess the staff thought we were just lookingfor a place to sit and look around for 10 minutes and not there for the food and drink stuff.. Other restaurants seem to thrivein this area while this place continues changing the name outside but not the business or what it offers in the way of serviceon the inside?I gladly support local businesses and especially the various restaurants in the East Lake neighborhood but thisestablishment seems to think changing the name every few months is all it takes to succeed. Great locally owned sports bar under new ownership. Perfect place to watch any sporting event. Walls are lined with TVs. Great... food and service. Definitely the "Go To" spot for a fun atmosphere. Read more

Decided to try The Lake 85, despite some unkind reviews, based on our experience at its sister, Sip85. We?re glad we did. The... service with Taylar was pleasant, attentive and accommodating. She was more than happy to take care of our specialrequests. The food came out quickly and was delicious. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak that came with hot crispy fries andthe Cuban egg rolls which were out of this world! Sadly no room for dessert, this time. Looking forward to our next visit. We went to Johnny's to watch game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. The food was delicious and the service provided by our server,... Wendy, was incredible. She was on top of our drinks and got the checks right despite us having 4 different checks in our largegroup. Also, great for sports as they have so many big screen tvs. Read more
