A nice addition to Palm Desert. The Indian motif restaurant is set in nonformal buffet style and "yes" buffet in offered during... lunch only. Come visit the waitress who always had a smile on her everytime she sees you. She'll give you great service and goodIndian food that fits your basic needs. The Saag Paneer or Palak Paneer is delicately flavored with spices and has large piecesof cheese. The Mushroom Korma is yummy, the flavors are just right! These dishes are a staple in traditional homes eaten withNaan bread. The Tandoori Chicken and Saffron Seek Kabob are "okay." Most dishes can be cooked to your spices level. Finish youmeal with Gulab Jamon, a fried milk and cheese round soaked in a simple syrup and sprinkled with coconut shavings. Don't forgetthe Mango Lassi, a yogurt drink is a must try for mango lovers. Read more

The food was good. We did the lunch buffet. Really no complaints about the food. It was the service that needed a little extra... help. No napkins, no forks. Several tables needed cleaning. The people seemed nice and inviting, but maybe they were shortstaffed? IDK. That being said, I would go back. Read more

Amazed. This little place is tucked in the corner on the side of the mountain and is the definition of a hidden gem. Great... place. I was here for the buffet and I was very happy with the dishes they serve for a reasonable price. Highly recommend Read more

This place rocks out some delicious dishes. The owner Joe Singh made us Lamb Rogan Josh and Chicken vindaloo. Garlic naan, with... an order of samosas. Unbelievably, addicting flavors! The owners last name Singh is derived from original Sanskrit , "Simha".Meaning lion. Too me Monsoon is the king of Indian food in the palm springs area. Lionlike flavor! Yet the owner is humbleand appreciative of his customers. Try the lunch time buffet 11-3. I'm going to.. SEE YOU THERE! Read more

We should have read the reviews prior to coming.... The service was fine but the staffs weren't able to answer some basic... questions, as well as they didn't even know what Halal is (one of my guest has dietary restriction)... The taste was decent butthe garlic naan was chewy, stale and super greasy. Worst comes to worst, the the chicken was cold!!! It's absolutely crazy andscary to think the "fresh" chicken served to us was COLDDDD. The owner didn't even do anything about the cold chicken but justmicrowaved it. This place is honestly a disgrace to the Indian cuisine... Read more
