Reviews for Le Basil in Palm Desert, CA
Delicious- good service and really fantastic food. Authentic Vietnamese and Thai specialty cooking. Simple but full of flavour
Food was ok at best. ate it only cause I was hungry ???? I had came in around 2. When I was still eating someone else came and... asked if they had the lunch special and waiter said no, it was only on weekends, another man came out and told that Person theycould do the lunch special , but when it came time for me to pay, I paid full price and wasn?t given the lunch special like theperson that came 20 mins after did. Lol I was shook . I guess they just pick and choose who can get it? oh well, definitelyexpected a little more for the price. Was kinda left to myself while everyone else was being attended to. Wasn?t offered waterand my food came out before the Thai tea ever came. Thai tea was just thrown together. Paid $26.05 for pad Thai and a Thai tea.Definitely was not worth it. Especially when the person that came after me was given the lunch special price. a little upsettingbut it?s fine. Read more

I couldn't really eat much off the menu because or food allergies but let me tell you! The orange chicken was a delight. I... believe they make the sauce for each order because it was so hot and fress that the extra sauce i had on the plate i justsmothered my white rice into it. I tasted like a blend of sweet and sour sauce and a zesty orange flavor. Read more
Service was phenomenal, food came out fast and tasted authentic, and would definitely come back. I'm not from around the desert... and thought it would be hard to find good Thai food here, but this restaurant really surprised me. I would say it's even betterthan some of the top Thai restaurants in Los Angeles and Orange counties. Read more
We ordered panang curry with chicken and with beef. Somehow the chicken one was pretty tasteless. Some shrimp in Spring rolls... appetizer was undercooked. And it was pretty expensive. Not impressed. Read more
