Food was very good, but pricy, but then it is Palm Springs area in high season. We had a reservation and hostess offered u s a... booth, but then said it was only available to a larger party. She subsequently sat another party of two at the same booth. Weasked for marguerites with no salt, but got two with salt. Sent then back, my replacement had obviously just been poured into anew glass as the salt taste was overwhelming. All in all, service substandard, food good. Read more

I have eaten at Guillermo’s many times and always look forward to returning. The restaurant is comfortable and gives you the... feeling that you are in a restaurant somewhere in Mexico. It is a family owned and family run restaurant that prides itself onnot only good food, but excellent service. You get both while dining here, sitting there sipping on your favorite beverageenjoying chips and freshly made salsa, waiting for your dinner. Guillermo’s is normally busy, so reservations arerecommended. The menu provides you with many difficult choices as to what feast you will enjoy for the evening. No matter whatyour choice the food will be delicious. So if you are looking for good Mexican food with a comfortable, festive atmosphere, Iwould highly recommend Guillermo’s. Read more

Guillermo's has the BEST house salsa I've ever had. The menu is 100% authentic, even delivering Grandma's Recipe. Mario at the... bar is an amazing host, and the locals made the experience even more enjoyable with recommendations and very friendlyconversations. Read more

We had the Molcajete Plato Azteca for two it has beef chicken, nopal, Chile Verde, avocado inside a Molcajete which is a stone... bowl used for grinding food. I believe the sauce is grinded in it before putting all the other food. It is ???? delicious. Ihighly recommend it. Read more

Amazing family owned Mexican restaurant! If I could give this place 6 stars I would. All of the food and salsa was fresh and so... flavorful. If you're in the Palm Desert area and need a good Mexican restaurant, this is your spot. Fellow vegetarian foodies, make SURE you try the calabacitas (zucchini) dinner dish made with Oaxaca cheese & seasoned with cilantro. I've never had azucchini forward dish prepared so well. FLAVOR FLAVOR FLAVOR! Everything was cooked to perfection and came out QUICK. The carneasada was packed with flavor and not dry at all. Portions were perfect. Servers are attentive and responsive. The owner came outto greet the tables with a friendly smile :) Would definitely recommend every time Read more

Great place to take the family out for dinner. The food was good and the service was excellent. The portions were good. Its a... little pricey but I was not disappointed. Its a Mexican style food with an American twist. Kinda reminds me of El ToritoMexican restaurant. I had the Ribeye steak, my wife had the chicken taquitos. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. Thewife in the other hand said the taquitos were soggy and not crunchy like others she has had. Read more

When I walked into the restaurant I immediately felt welcome. The service was amazing and the staff was so kind. They made it... feel like we were apart of the family. After a short waiting period, the food showed up and we were all suprised on the levelof detail and taste of the food. By far the best Mexican food I have ever had. This place was so good, my family had to returna couple days later and see if it was the same. With no suprise this time, the food was amazing again and the service was evenbetter. I absolutely loved this place. I will make it my mission to return to this amazing establishment when I return to thecity. Read more
