I have live full time in the desert for 13 years and have been a fan of Fresh for many years but on my last visit I was shocked... to see a basket of Conventional Non Organic Bananas. When I asked the employee about the bananas he said they are organic. Hewas young and I guess ignorant since the sticker as can be seen in the photo shows bananas that are NOT organic. Fresh statesthat ALL its produce is organic. Lastly their website has no email link to contact the owner which was my preferred method ofaddressing this concern. I went into the Palm Desert location which I usually go to La Quinta there is a very sweet young lady at the register Lilly... she?s great and then the person who is making the drinks smoothies and bowls angel he has a problem it took him over 10 minutesto make my bowl and the people that came in behind me got their smoothie at the same time that I got mine I left and I calledback the store to find out his name and said that he is unprofessional and rude because I had to ask him is this mine and hebarely looked up at me and said what is your name I gave him my name he slapped a lid on half ways and walked away. I usually go to the rancho mirage location & order ahead of time but my order was half made & waited 20 min to pick up the rest.... The ladies looked at me if I was crazy or weird, felt uncomfortable but they helped every good looking Nancy in the store. I wasfresh from a hike and not wanting to wait 20 min for my juice. Disappointing I usually go to the Palm Springs location. Ordered a bowl requesting a milk Substitution due to an allergy.... Instead of informing me of additional charge which is expected they handed me a watered down fruit bowl. Customer service couldbe way better. Read more

A clean place to get good nutrition. I love the large selection offered and the add-ons at reasonable pricing. I have ordered... "The Original" and an acai bowel. My gosh, both are delicious. My 3 year old niece liked the PB protein smoothie but we only lether have a few sips. This location is the best in customer service, I believe. There is no pressure when you are indecisive andquestions are answered kindly. I live a ways away but the service is what has me coming back + the smoothies. Read more

I called the Palm Desert location to see if they had gluten free wraps for my daughter. The woman said they did. We ordered... ahead and when we arrived, the woman grabbed the wrap out of the grab and go, which had me questioning whether they were glutenfree. I asked again and said that my daughter had an allergy and she promised me that they wrap was gluten free, and seemedannoyed at this point. We went outside to eat and my daughter voiced concern that it didn't taste gluten free. I called the LaQuinta location and asked them and they said the wraps were NOT gluten free. I went in and told the woman what they said and shewas arguing with me that they were, so I asked her to call La Quinta and talk with them. She found out they were not and relayedthe information to me, very matter of fact. I was shocked and told her that this was a huge mistake. She barely responded. Icontinued by telling her how dangerous this was and that she needed to be more knowledgable about the products and she keptpushing against everything I was saying, that she thought the wraps were made out of tomatoes. After a while I started gettingfrustrated with the fact that she didn't realize the seriousness of the situation and didn't seem to care at all. I finally saidMy daughter could have a "bleep" reaction any second and you haven't even apologized! She responded with "you cussed so I'm notapologizing", which was ridiculous since she hadn't apologized up to this point or even offered to refund my money. Fresh ingredients make for an amazing tastings acai bowl. When I crave one this is definitely the spot. Never disappoints.
