The best breakfast I have ever imagined. The staff was amazing! The chicken salad was the best chicken salad I've ever had in my... life. And the breakfast sandwich had the best seasoning on the planet. Above all, the price was totally reasonable!!! 1000%recommend. Read more
Saturday, 13 August at 8:00 AM. 3 Buttermilk Pancakes Served with a choice of bacon, sausage, or Canadian bacon. $11.00 The... outdoor dining was comfortable and enjoyable. The pancakes were very large at approximately 9 inches across and easily 1/2 inchthick. They were very light, filling, and perfectly cooked. Nice body and texture. The butter was spreadable but nondescript. The syrup tasted like an inexpensive corn fructose blend. It was not true golden maple syrup. My major complaint was thefrequent use of disposable plastic which killed the dining experience for me. The butter and syrup were presented in cheaptakeaway containers, and the drinks were in thin cheap cups. Dining in Palm Coast on vacation is supposed to feel like a treat,and the disposable plasticware made it feel more like a cheap rest stop that truckers would frequent. Also, think about theenvironmental impact of all that trashed plastic! Reconsider using pour dispensers, and reusable containers. I'm not askingfor fine china, but simply standard restaurant reusable dinnerware. Overall I would rate this Good: 3 out of 5. Read more
I recently hosted a 75th Birthday Party for a family member. We needed something lite, but nice too. I live over an hour from... Palm Coast and knew it may be difficult to arrange a party easily from my location. I reached out to a few restaurants, venuesand catering companies to accommodate our needs. I got a few quotes, some outrageous and some reasonable. I settled on Rodie'sPlace, a locally owned small restaurant. I was put in contact with Tammy, the catering coordinator. From start to finish shewas there. Easy to reach by phone and communication was superb. We had our order catered in our home and the food was deliveredfor us. We served about 30 guests and just about everyone raved over the spread. We did a brunch style party and Tammy was ableto come up with some great ideas. We had a mimosa bar, Bloody Mary bar, Bagel bar, muffins chicken salad sliders, quiche and agrazing board. Phenomenal would minimize the quality and quantity of food and the taste was so memorable. The biggest hit wasthe quiche, ham and cheese. It was delicious. I would highly recommend Rodie's for your catering needs, as well as dining in.If the food and service was this good for an in home catering, I can only imagine what it tastes like served directly from thekitchen while dining in. Compliments to the Chef and staff who helped to make this party successful, and especially to Tammywho even followed up afterwards, just to see if everything went well!! Was not easy to find, but once I did, it was GREAT!. Driving up A1A. it is hidden in stretch of trees. Limited parking in... lot, but I was a lucky one. May want to park along street. Waitress was right on top of for service and I asked forrecommendations and then told her to surprise me. Got the crunchy French toast with bananas. Excellent. Highly recommend. Wish they offered some like this where I come from. Was next to last day in Palm Coast, but will definitely come back on areturn trip.Solid 5 stars in my book. Awesome little place sat outside for breakfast, food was delicious - crab cakes benedict w/cauliflower bread instead of muffins,... really nice twist to the meal. Also tried ?crunchy? French toast again delicious. Good coffee, friendly service! Read more
