Tried to go here on my BIRTHDAY, on a Thursday night and the guy at the hostess stand was so rude. I said "oh I'm just gonna go... to the bar" , he says "we are not taking anymore people in, the bar is full". The bar was NOT full, there was plenty room forme and my friend to go sit and have a drink. What, did I not look like a PALM BEACHER, he didn't know what I do for a living,how much I make, what kind of credit cards I have etc.... I am on the ISLAND almost everyday dealing with many nice people whoare my clients, who would never treat anyone like this. My guess is this man who was maybe the manager , probably doesn't evenlive on the island and definitely needs a big lesson in CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will NEVER spend my money here and neither shouldanyone else. They clearly do not know how to treat people who obviously were willing to spend money there. ???? Read more

I have been a fan of the restaurant in NYC, so was delighted when they opened here in Palm Beach. The place is elegantly... decorated, the staff very attentive and the food beyond delicious. We shared a special as an appetizer, a truffle risotto, andit was one of the most delicious I have ever had. Worth every penny. Afterwards as a main I had the Cajun chicken which as usualwas great. Immaculate vibes. Fashionable place, and very detail oriented if you’re like me and pay attention. Staff waited on us hand... and foot, we got the most beautiful view upon request, they brought a stool for my bag before I had to ask, never let our watersgo past half empty, and cleared every little crumb and drop of food from the table cloth in between courses. I think this is probably great for New York. But locals know better. Overall, it was “meh”—good enough, not bad, pretty... good service, but not the impressive, exquisite food and dining experience that locals are used to. Especially not for theprice! You can pay the same at any restaurant by The Breakers and your food will be memorable and your experience,impeccable. I had the Cajun signature dish, which is all the rage, and it was good—on par with the types of dishes I’ve hadin France—but I’d expect GREAT, at minimum. I’m glad all the NYers and newcomers like this place so much because it keepsthe crowds out of the actual best restaurants in the area ;) I wish them well, but I’m not sure true PBers are impressed. Was a little hesitant booking a big birthday dinner celebration here, but I’m so glad we did. It had been a while since we... had been in and some of the new reviews seemed pretty harsh. We had an excellent time - I started with the gazpacho and the OuiChéri Cooler. Everyone else had a cocktail as well. They were all excellent! I’m trying to recreate my cocktail at home. Everyone loved their meals, perfect balance of fresh fun flavor Maria was our server and was wonderful. She even steeredsomeone in our party to a glass of wine that they enjoyed way more than what they had originally chosen. Maria just knew shemight want something with a different flavor profile. I appreciate when a server cares enough to offer gentle advice. The moodis fun and fresh, very Palm Beach, everyone dressed to impress while making you feel at home, and the playlist playing wasperfect. And they topped it all off with a special surprise candle in our desert for our birthday celebration. It was anexcellent birthday - we will be back. We sat at the bar since we did not have reservation ..i ordered "Oui Cheri Cooler" one of the best cocktails... i have ever tried absolutely delicious, fresh, a perfect drink for a hot weather , also we ordered the Moules Marinieres,excellent delicious..food and service are great,.. i must come back !! Second time back. First time in pants and the Service was attentive food was very good but not amazing. Made a 8:30... reservation for dinner outside. It was 90 degrees. I had on RL purple label linen short. Linen shirt and Stubbs shoes. Wewere greeted with "we cant seat you". No conversation. Rude and dismissive. It says no shots on website but when you call onthe phone they should remind guest that there is a dress code. No customers outside. The ladies that refused us were dressedin short beach dressed from H&M. I read a LOT of bad reviews. Its a short season. We will not be back. Its a beautifuldesigned space. But the people who live in PB enjoy better service and not being treated badly and dismissed. Brad and Buccanor Vincent at Cafe Boulud will be happy to seat you with open arms..also Google guests before giving them a reservation so theycan keep out POOR people.
