Not sure what happened tonight. We ordered a deluxe pizza and it was horrible. There is little to no sauce. Very small amount of... cheese. The toppings slide right off of the crust, the crust is soggy and chewy. Very disappointing. Edited to thank Tony forreaching out and making it right. Very pleasant and apologetic. We will definitely try again. Only because Tony was so nice. Read more

Typically, if I have a bad experience I will not leave a bad review as I understand things happen?but this is the second time... now. First time, I only ordered a plain pie because I don?t usually have high expectations when first trying new restaurants.Flavor was delicious but it was only a simple cheese pie, and the pizza was hard to pick up (sloppy) even after asking for itwell done. No big deal I looked past it. Tonight my father ordered their deal which came with a bundle of an 18? pie with 2toppings, wings, garlic knots, and a two liter of soda. First thing I ate was a chicken wing, which smelled and tasted as if itwere a couple days old. Those went directly into the garbage. Pizza tasted alright but it was a complete and absolute soggy messwhen you tried to pick it up. My father was going to call and tell the establishment since this is the second time we got ourpizza this way. To me it was not worth it. I wouldn?t want a remake or an apology. I would rather not eat here and save myselfthe hassle. There are so many wonderful reviews on here and that?s why we chose this place, but it was not the case for usunfortunately. If my father didn?t say how nice the gentleman who worked there was then this would have been a 1 star reviewinstead of a 2 star. Read more

Palermo's Pizza- Palm Bay, FL- 4.25 Stars ?I do not cook. However, if I did, I'd cook all Italian food, all the time.? ?... Ne-Yo As I pulled onto the Causeway to once again head OTB for a review, all I could think of was that being a food critic isnot for those that are concerned about their waistline as yet another Pizza joint came up on my name generator. This time it wasPalermo's Pizza in the teeming metropolis that has become Palm Bay. Now, I am not a gambling man, per se, but I bet if youpolled every pizza joint in this here US of A, there would be a guy named Tony working there. Like every other pizza slop house,Tony's on the register here as he asks for my order. In a heavy Italian lilt, he informs me that he is also the owner. I askedTony for some Garlic Cheese Bread, one pepperoni and onion Stromboli, and an order of their Baked Ziti along with a cannedbeverage. The restaurant has only three tables, it is obviously geared more to take out than dine-in, not that that's a badthing. I had my order before too long, snapped some pics and dug in as the inviting aromas wafting up from the plate wasoverwhelming my olfactory nerve. I grabbed a slice of Cheesy Garlic bread and popped it in my mouth. This is impressive! Thelarge order of bread was exceedingly, but not inordinately so, buttery, garlicky and quite cheesy. Talk about a great start to ameal, this is it. Moving on to the Stromboli, (which is essentially a rolled up pizza), as one can garner from the picture, thisbaby was packed to the hilt with above grade Italian perfection. The ingredients were so fresh I could swear I heard an Italianbutcher with a Palermo accent yakking away as the flavors Tarantellaed their way across my tongue. Tony is obviously not cuttingany corners when it comes to quality ingredients. Cin cin to Tony! Finishing the sample of Stromboli, I never eat the wholedish, just enough to be able to judge it, I moved on to the Ziti. The Ziti, like the Stromboli and Cheesy Gar Read more
