Im west Indian and not a big fan of Guava.. deff not a go to thing for me. but let me just help all of you that CANT see thoes... golden layer flakes on this pastry. The fluffy, airy lightness, crunchy sound can be heard from the moment you put your teeth onit, all the way thru the center where youll find a thin spread of guava jelly thats not over powering. Absolutely delicious(hubby said) oh, but thoes flakes The CUBAN Sandwich :)..... i can throw down at home but..... talk about mouth watering. Stupiddelicious go try it!! I like mine with some extra mayo n mustard and extra pickles on the side.... i dont need non that here.And the staff was very kind..we will deff be back and convenient for our sons lunchs or after school snack is a win for us! Don't be fooled by the gas pumps outside or by the gas station authentic. Go inside and eat some authentic Cuban food right here... in Brevard County. From their buttery bread to their fresh juices, this place feels like the great restaurants in Miami. Fairlypriced, delicious food and very attentive staff. Read more

It's inseparable from those from the get-go." - A.Bourdain Palm Bay started out as a small community for lower-middle-class New Yorkers who could sell their home for $25,000 inNew York and buy a virtual mansion in Palm Bay. However, with the emptying of Puerto Rico, Palm Bay is now 55% Hispanic. Theplus here is that it is now filled with great, great Hispanic food. The downside is that no one and I mean no one speaksEnglish. I mention this as Henry's Cuban Cafe popped up on my name generator and I knew I had better brush up on my Spanishbefore heading OTB and into the wilds of Palm Bay, FL. The first thing I noticed upon entering Henry's Cuban Cafe was how cleanand spotless it was. At least this post-COVID world forced everyone to clean everything all the time. This is a good thing. As Iapproached the counter, reading the menu I was greeted by a gregarious lady in a most friendly and inviting manner. Sadly, Iforget her name, but I did ask her for one Cuban Sandwich, some Dirty Rice, an order of Cassava, some Ground beef with potatoesand a side of Yellow Rice. As you can see by the pictures, the Cuban Sandwich was made with freshly pulled pork, in fact, youcan watch them pull the pork from the spinning pig before putting your sandwich together. This is a 5-star sandwich, all day,every day. The side of Dirty Rice was cooked to perfection and oozing with Cuban flavors. Cassava (Yuca/Manioc), for those notin the know, is the South American/Caribbean answer to Idaho Russets. This portion was cooked perfectly with flavors that areabsolutely luscious. The Ground Beef with potatoes is mouthwatering in and of itself! The seasoning is perfect and caused mytaste buds to jump up and shout, "Aye, Carumba! This is GOOD!" Stopped here for lunch while in town for work. Delish! Had the Cuban sandwich and lunch special - roast pork, rice & beans. The... chicken empanada was also super flavorful. Washed it down with a cafe con leche. Don?t let the gas station vibes fool you - thisplace is very tasty! And the ladies working were really sweet. Would def go back. Read more
I always leave room for improvement, but the ladies here are the best, the Cubans are excellent and more than you should expect... from a gas station. We eat here several times a week. Our go to is a pressed Cuban with extra cheese. But don't be afraid toexplore the rest of their menu, pork or chicken with black beans and rice. Quality Cuban food and dessert! Read more
