Having tasted wine in numerous premier regions around the world, I was a bit skeptical of Colorado wines. Have to say I was... pleasantly surprised. While not on par with Napa or Sonoma or even Washington state, their wines (all Bordeaux varietals here)are extremely good, especially Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Tasting experience was well done, seven wines in our flightPlus nice etched wine glasses to take home in the tasting card if you book in advance for their premium tasting. We had the best time at Colterris exploring the gorgeous property and tasting their amazing wine choices. The view at the end of... the main path is picture perfect, and they’ve added in fun sculptures and a gazebo for more photo ops. Our server for the winetasting was so much fun and very knowledgeable. Gorgeous land!!! Their wine tasting was a whole experience in and of itself. This family owned winery is working at a higher... caliber than some of the others in the area. Had a really good time here. Not only was the staff knowledgeable, but the service and wine tasting experience was the best. ... All of their wines taste great. This place has great atmosphere, and will provide a walk through their peach vineyard that endsat a sheer overlook beside the river. I can see having weddings hosted here - they have the accommodations to handle this typeof event, which will provide a lifetime of great memories. Read more
