Excellent new ice cream shop that is going to be a hit for years to come I hope. Super friendly service with top notch owners... and absolutely fantastic ice cream. Love that they serve local ingredients! The place is super clean, all updated and the pricesare good. Order a small. Trust me. You can not eat anything bigger unless you're sharing and even then you're likely headedstraight for a food coma if you even try. Love the location. The picnic table area has lawn games and views of sunset throughthe trees. Perfect atmosphere with positive vibes. Bring the kids or some friends. Sit down and relax for a bit, plan to stayand hang, there's plenty of space and you won't have to worry about direct sun or any flies. My mother and I were looking for a place to grab a quick lunch to eat outside or take home. I was delighted to find Below Zero... had many picnic tables set up for customers, and they had the Montgomery County SPCA there for a Doggie Day Adoption Clinic(Below Zero was donating to the SPCA from their ice cream sales). I spotted other flyers at the counter and noted there willbe other fun events over the Summer. So nice to see a business giving back to the Community! We enjoyed our lunch, chatted withthe owner and staff, and enjoyed the doggies. It was a pleasure to be greeted by warm smiles, and we will be looking forward toour next visit. Read more
Though I have had a friend pick up ice cream for me before, this was my first time experiencing Below Zero in person and it was... lovely. The owners have kept the spirit of the old shop and made it their own. Some nice upgrades made the experience much nicer(the use of the pickup window, nicer menu boards, etc.) I was greeted with a smile and friendly conversation- and the ice creamwas very nicely done - plus great to support a local cause, as I stopped by during one of their fundraisers. I wanted to do something special for my Grandmother on Independence day so decided to stop in and treat her at Below Zero to try... their food & ice cream. We were not disappointed. Their ice cream was amazing and way bigger than we expected and the food wasso delicious!!! The staff was very friendly also and put cute little flags decorating our food since it was the July 4thholiday. We both will definitely stop there again. Read more

Have been going here all summer and loved it. Until late late August I got a soft serve vanilla that had a very powdery texture... to it. And I took it back to the window and they both tried it and claimed they don?t taste it. But they did give me a chocolateand it was way better. A week later we go back and get ice cream. And I get soft serve vanilla. It comes out and does not evenlook creamy. And yes it was terrible so threw it out and went to the ice cream stand in St Johnsville and got real soft serve.So imo they don?t even know the difference between good ice cream and bad ice cream and should not be selling it.
