Best Chinese Food in the north and northwest suburbs. We have tried a number of different dishes, each was better then the... last. It starts with the egg rolls, and those can?t be beat. Service matched the food. The new owner upped the qualityconsiderably. Read more

Heng Wing Chinese restaurant in Palatine has by far the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. Each dish whether it?s from... take-out or dine-in is made to perfection. The portions are huge and the service is great. The owner Ken takes pride in hisrestaurant and in his food. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met in the restaurant business. I live 1/2 hour away andwould travel an hour away just to have a Heng Wing meal. I recommend trying this restaurant and don?t forget to have the eggroll. Read more

Best eggrolls Ive had outside of San Francisco. Huge, delicious and not at all greasy. Very generous portions. 2 orders (Orange... Chicken/Mongolian beef, plus eggrolls) were PLENTY for 3 very hungry people. Long islands not too bad either. Read more

Heng Wing service is great. The waiters were checking on us often and were kind. I am giving this three stars because the food... is a bit pricey compared to other Chinese restaurants. I also got the orange chicken and it was a bit soggy but tasted decent. Read more

We haven't been here since new ownership took over. We were excited for our food: Mongolian beef, beef chow fun, chicken fried... rice and egg rolls. We were disappointed. Food was pretty pedestrian. There was a raw flour element to the Mongolian beef. The fried rice and chow fun was really bland. Tough to see a Palatine staple descend into mediocrity. On to the next one... Read more

This used to be our go to for Chinese food. New owners so a few start up problems. Not enough servers, but the two that were... there were really working hard. Must have changed seasoning on some items and mentioned it to manager. He responded that theydid make some changes but he thought for the better. No lunch specials any longer which is disappointing. Manger said it wasjust not practical to offer the old lunch specials. The fried rice remains really good Read more

First time back since new ownership. Not the same. Crab Rangoon was decent. The sweet n sour soup lacked the flavor the... original one gaf plus not enough tofu. The entree was bland. The menu shows steak and lobster entrees but when ordered notavailable because of steak and lobster increased prices. Then mark these items off the menu Was disappointed Read more
