Presentation is good and the portions are good in relation to the cost. The flavor is good but they missed big time on cooking... the fish. Both my entree and my husbands fish was cooked dry. Both fishes we had should be flaky and soft. I just didn?t expectthis from a renowned fish market. Read more
Ok so we were visiting Maui and had already swam at two different waterfalls and were rally hungry so needed to land a good... restaurant to eat. This place has lots of fish dishes so I ordered the salmon with potatoes and salad. It didn?t disappoint. Thesalmon was nice a soft yet cooked well and the rest on the plate was great too. I also ordered a dark local Maui beer and thattoo was great. So for sure I recommend going here if you?re visiting or if you?re local as well. Highly recommended. Read more
Such fresh seafood! I highly recommend any of the fresh catch plates (I loved the Cajun snapper with fries). Try it with their... paia magic sauce. The fried shrimp appetizer was also amazing. You have to order before being seated, but the service was superquick, from getting your food to them cleaning tables in between guests. Read more

This place was on my radar the last time we went through Paia, but we had to skip it because the line was out the door and onto... the street. I should have known there was a reason for that. I ordered the fish and chips, I use it as a metric to test arestaurant, and a Guava Jarritos soda. Never seen that one before so I had to try it. I also got the calamari because I lovecalamari strips. The cocktail sauce that came with the calamari had a slight, and I mean slight, kick to it, but it was sodelicious I almost requested a bath be filled with it. The fish and chips were good, but I'm not a fan of shoestring fries. Theslaw that came with my meal was delicious. I don't usually eat slaw, but the tartar sauce made such a difference I ate themajority of it. The homemade tartar sauce was so good. I thought about skipping it, the fish was good without it, but somethingtold me I needed to try it so I did. It was delicious. There was dill, salt, and lemon in it and it made what could have been avery dull tartar very good. Great job! Read more
