We never win at gambling. As far as the restaurant goes, the food keeps you alive that's about it. Any casino I eat at I get... sick because of the grease they use on the grills. Besides winning$2k, the rooms are NOT desirable. Doors stick so it's loud when ppl close them. No fan in the bathroom. Glass... partition between you and the check in personnel so you have to talk loudly to them. Floor people are friendly as well as thebartender. We had 2 rooms and were charged close to $1200, obviously a mistake but still a damper on the experience. Loved thescenic mountains surrounding Pahrump!!! Read more

This is mainly about the hotel. Was looking for a place to stay for about a week so i scheduled a one night stay to check it... out. I regularly stay at Golden Entertainment hotels in Vegas and Laughlin and right now am a Legit member. Walked into theroom and it was dated but plenty of room and well kept. Turned on the TV and the reception was snowy(was told it gets that waywhen cloudy) so I figured I would just use my wireless Hotspot and chromecast since the internet was slow as well. There was asign on the wall saying you could be charged if you connect anything to the TV. The lady at the front desk pleasantly checkedfor me and said they do not allow that because people have broken the TV by connecting devices. Not her fault so I pleasantlysaid thank you for checking. First time I have seen that at a hotel. If you can charge someone for suspecting or verifying theyconnected a device to a TV then why not just charge the people that break the TVs. Would have given the place a good review andmade it a regular place to stay but the one thing I do not like is when hotels try place restrictions on you whether valid ornot so I just go the places that are the most convenient. Also, would like to be confident that the TVs will work well enoughconsistently. I have stayed at worst places and would go ahead and recommend if you just need a place to sleep. Otherwise, alocal hotel would probably be better or even Saddle West down the road as their rooms aren't as nice but do not restrict asmuch. I was able to sit on a couch at Saddle West and work on my laptop a few hours while watching some YouTube videos from myCjromecast in the background. That is the type of thing that makes my stays convenient amd comfortable. Still, my otherexperiences there were pretty good so do not use this review as a reason to absolutely avoid this place. Ate at a restaurant inside the server was lazy when I asked for napkins her statement was "I bring napkins when I bring your... food" well already had salad which I do consider food. We were never once asked if we needed anything during the entire meal. I am assuming hanging out in the kitchen was more important since that is where all staff appeared to be. My food was ok it isall prepared and microwaved didn't expect that. My friend and I ask for separate checks was put on one check. The person thattook payment was snarky as well. On top of that we had to wait to be seated, wait to get our check, wait to pay even tho therewere only about 6 - 8 others in the entire place. Read more
