Reviews for Kip's Grill in Pagosa Springs, CO
Fantastic food and service. We had Jalepeno poppers covered in bacon ... yummy. Also had the tacos, very tasty
Not the worst not the best mostly cheese for the mushroom tacos ????. The mushrooms were pretty decent but they didn't put... nearly enough of them compared to the other ingredients. The amount of cheese left me feeling a bit queasy afterwards. Goodatmosphere and good marjitas though. Read more
This is the kind of place where you close your eyes when you take a bite of your food! Amazing tacos washed down with a Gold... Margarita and it was lunch heaven. Wait staff extremely friendly, quick and efficient, with no trite, insincere "hi guys. . ."approach that plagues us! Collette took excellent excellent care of us the way we wanted! I would visit the town again just tohave the Diablo Tacos again! Read more
Kips has great prices compared to other places in Pagosa Springs. Tasty tacos! They give you your food wrapped up in a wad of... Tin foil. We ordered drinks which came out after the food. We ordered pomegranate margaritas during happy hour. The margaritawas just a red colored regular margarita with no pomegranate flavor. The biggest downside was the waitress. She did not check onus at all. We had to wait to get our check for over 30 minutes while she sat down at the table next to us to talk to herfriends. When she gave us our check it was well past happy hour (if she had given us our check on time it would?ve been withinhappy hour) and did not give us happy hour prices. She did fix this once we pointed it out though. Read more
Such a tragedy! To make such a good burger and to fail so miserably at a fish taco. I mean Really Fail ! Perhaps the miles have... kept you away from Baja or even Mexico. No one there would serve you awkwardly sliced white cabbage and paper thin avocadoslices (extra cost!) on your taco. The biggest mistake is to take your fish out of the freezer, cut it into half inch cubes andthen cook it. What is the result? Dried, Cardboard like overcooked tasteless "fish" cubes. And to add insult to injury, place 3very tiny pieces of lime on that plate. Oh dear, I am in tears. Never Again! Read more
We went for the fish tacos, but couldn?t get enough of the Pilewski tacos (more like smothered burritos)! They were absolutely... amazing! They green chili queso was really good, too. Read more
We came here on a Sunday and there was a 35 minute wait. Once seated in the outdoor patio area, we were greeted by our server,... Brittany. Despite being busy, she was friendly, sweet and attentive. We ordered Jalapeño Poppers, which is a must-order! Theywere delicious but watch out, they are hot, as inif-you-pop-them-into-your-mouth-the-cream-cheese-will-burn-the-insides-of-your-mouth hot! We ordered cheeseburgers for our boysand they crushed it all! My husband enjoyed his Sante Fe Chili. My daughter ordered a chili cheeseburger. It was served like anopen faced sandwich that was generously blanketed with the green chili. I had The Esteban and added avocado slices. I used thesalsa verde that came with my kids?s burgers to add a nice kick since they didn?t eat it with their meal. It was a greatcombination and I thoroughly devoured every bit of it. After eating so well, the kids and I definitely deserved dessert! ????Ice cream scoops for the boys, Locally Baked Cherry Pie, and Turtle Pecan Cheesecake for my daughter and I to share. The CherryPie was my favorite made with real cherries! (I need to go and check out that bakery!) I would definitely come back here nexttime we pass through or visit and you should too. Read more
What a flavor bomb! The salsa on the portabella tacos is spicy but the flavor of the mushrooms still permeates. My lips were on... fire and my sinuses reconditioned. (as a rule, not a heavy spice prrson) Dollops of cilantro sour cream is complementary to theflavor profile. So good, just flat out so good! I like that they stick to a limited menu and execute it very well. Yummy littlecocktail as well. Read more
