Good place for full, flavorful burritos. The strawberry ice cream makes for an interesting twist in the desserts.
We were approached the three host within seconds and were able to order as soon as we closed our menus. Waitstaff was extremely... attentive.Our party had a monster chimichanga, a fajita enchilada, and the burrito special. So, I was wanting some Mexican food and came across this establishment. It's Christmas Eve and I wasn't sure if they were open... for business. I didn't really feel like cooking, and I don't really do holidays anymore so to find them open and welcoming wassuch a reprieve. I saw on the door as I entered a piece of paper taped to the door with their new dishes: Carne Asada Fries andQuesabirria, no price. As I got their menu, it had EVERYTHING. I get overwhelmed when menus are pages...and pages long. So mybrain kicked in and remembered I wanted to try both of those dishes posted on the door. MAN! The fries were amazing. TheQuesabirria was good but could use some more cheese. But it was full of meat! I honestly thought the Carne Asada Fries were aside dish, and that's why I ordered both. As you can see they were HUGE. The fries I believe were around $11 and theQuesabirria maybe $13. As I previously stated, the prices weren't anywhere to be found so I'm not positive. The food was yournormal americanized Tex-Mex kind of food, but good nonetheless. I would definitely recommend this place as any other goodrestaurant, with the quality of food, taste, and price point. This was my second trip to Cancun. I had 2 servers attempt to take my order within minutes of sitting down, and had consistent... service for the first 30 minutes (I arrived much earlier than the rest of my group). The busier the restaurant became, the moreobvious it was that they needed more staff. My husband never got asked for a refill, and although the glasses are large, you getthirsty eating Mexican. My margarita was fine, and the staff were friendly as well as helpful. We truly enjoyed the samplerappetizer, I highly recommend it (pic below). Our food was tasty too. Stopped here while driving through the area on a trip. Food was tasty, not overly spicy. Prices were fair. Restraunt was clean.... Music was nice and not overly loud. The restraunt deserved 5 stars but our server was not great. Everyone else there was veryfriendly. She must have had a bad evening. This place is a little bit out of the way but the drive. Read more
