Expensive, with a menu meant to gouge you for wanting variety. The food is a little on the salty side so you might ask for low... salt. As a pacifican you kind of are forced to eat around a menu sometimes. There is not a lot of choice in the area so aplace like this is something you need to tackle like a minefield. Somethings are good, some things are bad. Here are somehighlights. Soups are awesome. Sweet and sour dishes are safe. Mushu and egg fu Yong are yummy. Lots of good chicken andveggies dishes. Salty dishes are overly salted, you won't need soy sauce. Weird egg rolls and fried stuff. Small portions. Especially the yummiest stuff. I wouldn't call them off but there is another Chinese spot with better food a few blocks down. Even so. You might need to go to the sunset if you want Chinese chinese. My girlfriend and I are traveling and just randomly picked this place. The food was great! The egg roll was probably the best... I've ever had. The beef was very tender and juicy, and full of flavor. Ive been here prior to covid and also i moved. It was my first time back in a while. The food was not as great as i remember... they've changed the typeof noodle for chow mein it use to be amazing before. Again I've been here beforw never have they chargedthe tip without asking which is not ok but I was going to leave a dollar more in cash but since they made the decision for me ohwell. Went here on a whim today when I needed a bite on my lunch break close by. I ordered a combo plate of BBQ pork with veggies. I... was a little taken back by the price, but let me tell you it was entirely worth it. Enough food for both my lunch and dinnertoday and I ate every single bite. Everything was absolutely delicious. I could have gone without the egg roll, it wasn'tanything special but that's just me knit picking here. I've had some hit and miss Chinese food in my life but this one is awinner. Even after nuking in the microwave 8 hours later the veggies were in perfect form and maintained its freshness.Impressed and I will be back soon.
