Food is meh. They don’t have real cutlery for their guests. You have to eat with plastic fork.

Great watermelon aqua fresca, very refreshing, however, food was meh and overpriced. Ceviche turned out to be mixed with guac... and served with chips, tacos didn\'t taste extraordinary either, just meh, prob won\'t come back. Service was nice and niceambience (outdoor dining). Plenty of parking in the nearby parking structure ($2/hr first hour, $4/hr second hour and on) Read more

It was late evening and we were hungry for dinner as the day had gotten away from us a little. We knew we wanted to eat in... Pacific Palisades, so we used Google Maps to find a restaurant nearby. The navigation was a little confusing because therestaurant is deeper in the shopping plaza than it appears. But don’t give up. It’s worth looking for.\n\nThe setting isperfect for evening outside dining. The service is super friendly. They’ve got a decent tequila and mezcal list. I orderedQuiereme Mucho Tobala neat. They rimmed the glass with chamoy syrup and Tajin and it was great. The chips and guacamole werevery good. The signature style carnitas taco was excellent! The pickled onions and charred pineapple added a wonderful tastingsurprise. The pescado taco was one of the best I’ve had. My wife and daughter both got a traditional rather than signaturestyle carnitas bowl. They both enjoyed it. Dessert was churros. We tried both the traditional churros with chocolate as well asthe Oreo red velvet churros. Both came with chocolate dipping sauce and raspberry dipping sauce. Both were great! My only regretis that we didn’t notice the Flamin’ Hot street corn on the menu until we were done eating dinner. We will definitely beback to try it! Read more

We had a party of 3 and all ordered different tacos and ceviches along with chips and guacamole. Everything was delicious and... made with high quality ingredients that you can truly taste. Additionally, the tortillas are out of this world - a nice spin ontraditional versions. We ended the meal with the churros which came with 2 dipping sauces - so so good! We will definitely beback and highly recommend to anyone who enjoys high quality Mexican food with great service. Read more

Was in the area after a visit to Lake Shrine and decided to grab a bite at Que Padre. My girlfriend and I walked in and were... immediately greeted by the host, possibly owner. Since we hadn’t eating there before we asked what was popular and what hewould recommend, the host articulately described both the preparation for the carnitas and chicken mole tacos. We are sold andordered those, along with a fish taco and a side of guacamole, chips and their habanero salsa. I couldn’t helps to noticetheir agave bar, a shelve crowded with top notch tequila’s and mezcal’s - I checked my watch and it was only 12 so we optedfor waters. The outdoor seating was very pleasant and the server friendly and attentive. Food was brought out shortly afterordering. The food went above and beyond exceeding all my expectations. The carnitas was balanced and perfectly marinated, themeat was tender. The mole and chicken was amazing, reminded me of my trips to Oaxaca - genuine, flavorful and authentic. I didnot get to try the fish taco - it was halibut though, my girlfriend was set on devouring her taco once it was put in front ofher and said it was too good to share with an empty plate. Another standout are their tortillas- they are made on premise andhave a really nice texture and flavor. The guacamole was excellent and the portion generous. After our meal the host brought outcomplimentary churros, the dish came with 2 dipping sauces, a chocolate fondue and a sweet and spicy dip. Both hella good! We’ll need to come back for dinner, looking forward to sampling more dishes and their mezcal’s! If you find yourself in theneighborhood - I highly recommend a visit to Que Padre Read more
