Doryland gets extra points for being open past 8PM in Pacific City. We got in late after a long day of hiking and exploring and... were craving a hot meal and this place delivered. In terms of pizza, it is definitely not top notch. Pacific City is not knownfor its pizza and this place was certainly a reflection of that. It was also rather expensive considering we just got onepizza. With all that said, it was certainly adequate. I particularly liked how they double sliced it into 16 pieces. This madeeating it by the campfire a lot easier. If you are in Pacific City and craving pizza (especially after 8PM) this is your spot.It's not the best but it is good enough. We got a sausage, pepperoni, bell pepper, and onion pizza and split it. It was morethan enough for two people. Read more
Great pizza! The garlic cheesy bread was amazing too! They were in the process of renovating the dining room when we were there... at the end of August '22, so take out was the only option. I look forward to trying it again for a dine-in option next time I'min Pacific City. Read more
We thought we would try this place again after the new owners took over. The pizza isn?t as good as before, and when I paid with... my card, the total was $31.99 for what I had ordered. When I checked my bank they had added an additional $5 without mypermission!! I consider that theft! The girl at the counter told me it was up to me to give a tip and then after I left withoutgiving one they decided to give themselves one. It was a little confusing walking in at first because we thought someone would greet us but shortly after we realized there was... a place to order up front around the pillar. My husband got the pesto chicken with smoked mozzarella and I got the veggiedelight pizza. They were perfect for our hungry bellies after a morning at the beach. It's not the best pizza I've ever tastedbut it was good for what we wanted. The staff were SUPER friendly and I enjoyed the atmosphere and how fast the pizzas weredone. Read more
We were looking for dinner - for 4 adults - on a Friday night after getting set up at camp down the road around 6;30 in the... evening. I called & was told that they have availability for our party. It was busy when we showed up. We stood in line &ordered a medium Taco pizza, an order of breadsticks with Marinara & 2 Pepsi bottles. It took almost 1.5 hours to get it. Wevisited while we waited. When it was delivered to our table we were ravenous. The breadsticks were warm & marinara had greattaste. I have had many pizza place?s Taco pizza & this was probably in the middle. While the food was alright and the salad bar decent, I was taken back by the non-existent service. Not to mention this picture... of what is called garlic cheese bread...when in fact it's a garlic cheese pizza. The customer places their order, picks up theirorder, serves their own soda/water and yet the employee slammed the water down when a tip was not generated on the bill or putin the cup...not to mention a full discussion of restructuring the building while patrons are eating...something should bediscussed during closing hours not while patrons are eating. This was a nice little pizza joint for our first night in Pacific City. The food seemed fresh and the staff friendly enough. We... tried the taco pizza, meat pizza, and the salad bar. Each had a nice crispy/chewy crust and the taco pizza was fun if you'relooking for something different. Overall it was a good experience but not "knock your socks off". I would be willing to try itagain and maybe see how their sandwiches are. Fun for a casual family meal. Read more
