The food was very tasty and well seasoned showcasing vanilla in many forms such as sauces, chutneys and drinks. They also sell... those products so you could recreate your vanilla experience at home. Their vanilla ice cream was remarkable and comparable tothe ones served in upscale restaurants. One of the best vanilla ice creams we have ever had. The quality of their product speaksfor itself; very high grade. Definitely a farm that focuses on quality over quantity! You can order their products online. The lunch and Tour was excellent. From the greeting at the door until we were leaving the staff was friendly and helpful. The... lunch was very tasty and served in a covered garden area. We then went on tour to see the plants and hear how the process ofraising vanilla happens. So happy my wife found this hidden gem. Read more
We visited on May 9, 2022. We started with a delightful luncheon (reservations required) in which we were treated to dishes... using many of the delicious products available in their shop. It was nice to see different ways vanilla can be utilized, andnice to be able to bring some of the products home with us. Food was plentiful and delish. The tour was our big interest andit did not disappoint. We were led by Ian, one of the four brothers who run the farm, who was so knowledgeable. He providedgreat info on the entire operation and helped us appreciate how difficult it is to raise vanilla plants, pollinate them, andturn them into products for us. We have started our own vanilla extract with the beans purchased....can't wait until we can useit in our cooking! I am so happy we took the tour at the Hawaiian Vanilla Company. We have been wanting to do this and it was definitely worth it.... Eliot (with one T) was absolutely hilarious. I will honestly be back here every time we visit the island just to see the crew.There is so much passion and dedication to this farm. Do yourself a favor and book the tour and if that doesn?t fit yourschedule, it?s still worth the drive to check out the store. So many amazing products. This was by far way more fun and interesting than I was expecting. Ian was very professional and informative. We were a large... group close to 50 people and he was patient and made sure everyone could hear him clearly. He let us ask all kinds of questionsand he answered some of them with a humorous reply that made everyone feel welcomed and at ease. The products they sell aremade right there on the farm and are of the highest standards and quality. I recommend visitors and locals to check this placeout. Read more
The lunch was amazing and the tour informative. It it definitely worth a visit. I wish they would have the tables set up... community style so everyone eat together. I visited by my self and no matter where you are in the world it is sad to eat alone. Read more
