Catfish was absolutely delicious! The fries were so so. Not as crispy as I like but still good. The tarter sauces were huge just... like the portions! Went here with a huge group (we took up the whole back room) and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Our food came out... super fast and piping hot. The portion sizes-HOLY COW!!!! Everything is huge! The pancakes require a pizza box as a to go boxbecause they?re just that big. Beware! Lol. I played it simple and got the biscuit and gravy. I was not disappointed. The food was amazing. If you like big portions, I highly recommend Billy Gail's. Billion Dollar Bacon is a must try, and their... omelets are superb. Servers were super friendly and on top of it, didn't need to ask for any refills, only a box for leftovers.Will definitely be back. Read more
My family & I were on vacation & stopped at Billy Gail's for breakfast & WOW it was fantastic! Our waitress was Heather & was... did an excellent job! Very helpful & very polite. She did an amazing job. Our food was SO GOOD! It was probably the bestbreakfast we ever had at a restaurant. The pancakes were huge & delicious. Definitely a favorite place for us! We stopped for lunch, and were seated immediately. My wife the triple cheese bacon burger, and it was great! I got the Carolina... Chicken salad, and it too, was very good. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and are known for their 14 inch pancakes. Theportions are large, and prices are reasonable. The atmosphere and service were also very good, and I suggest that you stop in.We will definitely stop back again whenever we're passing by. Read more

I had a great time. We started off having to wait for a table, but they had a system where they gave you a pager so when they... were ready for you you could get notified. Second the place held a high capacity of folks so since I went with a large group westill had a good seat. It was my first time going to a place like that and I thought the food was good. They definitely had somehuge portions for a single person. Even the kids menu item, a pancake, was the size of the kids head. I had a Monte Cristosandwich, it had thick Texas toast French toast for the bread, over easy egg some cheese and some amazingly smoked bacon, hashbrowns on the side, and a glass of orange juice. I have to say it was pretty good experience. Though the place was crowded theservers did an exceptional job keeping on things and making sure folks had refills without even having to ask. Our daughter had eaten here before and recommended we give it a try. We weren't disappointed! She had a short stack (2) of... blueberry pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs and iced tea. The daughter had the chicken and biscuit platter with hashbrowns and extra gravy and a fountain drink. I had the breakfast burrito (sausage) with hash browns and coffee. While all thissounds pretty normal, the portions were huge and the flavor memory inducing good. Those pancakes were about 14" across, loadedwith blueberries cooked in, and had more piled on top! They gave her a pizza box to take home the leftovers and we had two moremeals there with them! The dog got some because we couldn't finish the job. Under all that sausage gravy on that 14" platteris two large open biscuits, two eggs, two strips of bacon, a chicken breast, and about a half pound of hash browns. I tastedthe gravy -- yummy! My burrito must have weighed a couple pounds with that same half pound of hash browns on the side. Lots ofcheese, eggs, chunks of sausage, potato, and if I remember correctly, onion and green peppers made a flavorful blend that Icould barely finish. As you can see in the photo, I like mine covered in salsa and Billy Gail's makes it good! I couldn't beginto finish the hash browns... And the coffee was very good. Scott did an exceptional job taking care of us. Very friendly andkept our drinks full. Immediate service from the front door to the bill with the leftover boxes. A very satisfying experience!
