I ordered for delivery not only did it take forever to get here, I received no tarter sauce for my fish which in all honesty... it?s essential to this type of food , I ordered 3 plates house special no sauce ????to top that off the salad was hot not tasty,I spent over $55 and they would not consider some kind of compensation never ordering from here again. Excellent food. Had the shrimp chow mein and it was delicious. Also had a fish taco. Food was excellent.
The only reason I'm giving Otani's only two stars is that a friend of mine told me how amazingly wonderful it was. Perhaps the... seafood salad isn't the best thing on the menu. That's what I had and it was very underwhelming. My friend and I went therehoping to find something like a Seven Seas salad which of course has all kinds of seafood in it not just crab and shrimp withlettuce. We did not opt to have it smothered in mayonnaise which of course is the way most people get it. I intend to return totry something else on the menu. The place was about half-full and there was a steady stream of people coming in getting to goorders. I suspect my experience is a unique one. I must add this; the people who work there are very accommodating I did notexpect the wonderful service that we got. ???? Read more
I LOVE this place!!! Been coming here since 1974 and the ?Shrimp Tempura? has always been my favorite. All menu items are very... good, never disappointed. A true Oxnard gem! Read more
Fish is fresh rice is good but the salad wasn't fresh that was too bad because It was like eating by a dirty trash can. Some how... the salad messed up the whole plate, I wish they wouldn't have placed it there. The place was clean but they scale and gut thefish right in front of you so you get the smell coming off the stainless steel. The food is brought to the table for you andthe condiment are on a small table by the front door. Read more
This is a landmark! Just came to relive. Must try their clam chowder ( was warm, ok, not great). Food was ok.... can get... teriyaki Chinese here. But why? Had their calamari steak charbroiled. Grilled flavored. Actually very very good texture!Would recommend that! The red snapper teriyaki was good. Would not consider anything else worth getting. Read more
I had the red snapper sandwich with clam chowder and fries special. The sandwich was really good and snapper tasted fresh.
