Reviews for Los Agaves Restaurant in Oxnard, CA
Took my girlfriends sister here, she ordered before we did, but wanted to tip cash at the table. Employees were so OFFENDED she... didn?t tip right away that she didn?t get her meal until after we got ours and essentially were finished with our entire meal.We know this was the case because she had to go ask multiple times where her food was and the final time she went one of theemployees goes, ?Yah dasela.? She ended up getting it and I?ll have a photo attached. Working at a restaurant I understand thefrustration ESPECIALLY this day in age, but this is 100% Los Agaves? fault. You guys are a popular restaurant in Oxnard andshould be paying your workers accordingly, so that scenarios like this don?t play out. Lack of professionalism is disgusting. Read more
Fresh salsa bar, classics, and specials. So many choices!
This is the most delicious, authentic Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. Now, I'm from South Carolina and as white as a flour... tortilla but I have a lot of unearned confidence in my opinion. Eat here; you won't regret it. Read more
Stopped by about 11am on Saturday, this place is located in The Collection shopping center in Oxnard, if you eat here your child... eats free which is nice, the pricing wasn't anything more expensive than most places. I had the Quesadilla with steak which wascooked perfect and flavorful, we also ordered Birria tacos which were phenomenal as well. I ordered a house margarita too! I'mpleased all around with this place and customer service. Read more

Ordered through DoorDash twice, first time got the chile verde plate and second time tacos gobenador, both were very flavorful... but for gobenador - the shrimp were overcooked to my disappointment. Both were quite pricey, $15.54 for chile verde and $21.54for the tacos. I love that they're not stingy with their salsa and their chips are quite addictive Read more
If you want something authentic or with flavor, find the nearest roadside stand for a 1/4 the price. Had the beef fajitas and... was not impressed. Salsa in plastic cups? Let?s switch to some washable containers. Horchata tasted like red hots candy, thoughit?s made fresh everyday (with artificial cinnamon) Read more
