Lazy Dog has a wonderful ambiance. I can see it perfect for dinners as the interior creates this cabin-like feeling of being in... the woods in the middle of Oxnard. Staff was excellent and attentive that is pleasant to interact with. They have an abundanceof food to choose from in their menu. They also serve Bison meat. I have never had Bison and my first experience of it was good.I wish I got the Bison burger instead of the meatloaf. Thai noodles were also good and was very wet and had a lot of sauce toit. Only got 4 stars from me because there was a fly in out area and it wouldn’t stop bugging us. Read more

This restaurant is clean and provides plenty of parking because it is in a shopping complex. The staff although friendly were... slow in taking our drink order but our waiter Jameson was on point after that. I truly enjoyed my dinner although I wanted toavoid certain things because I was on the fence, i.e. spicy maple syrup and white gravy (sometimes your meal just gets saturatedwith it). I ordered the fried chicken dinner which was hand-dipped buttermilk boneless chicken breast, red skin potato mash,white gravy, spiced maple syrup, sautéed spinach with smoked bacon. OMG heavenly. Our teen ordered the flank iron steak (sheenjoyed it) with strawberry lemonade. First one that actually had real strawberries. My husband had the chicken parmesan. Hethought the pasta was dry but I think this is an easy fix with asking for extra pasta sauce. Would definitely dine here again. Read more
Went to Lazy Dog, with my dad for a late fathers day gift. They had, an awesome special called Ale yeah beer dinner.... #LDBeerDinner. It was awesome, the server picks the first beer, while we choose from a list of starters. We chose buffalocauliflower. Yummy. Then we choose a dish each, from the list. My dad chose the Thai noodles and i chose the creamy dijonchicken...oh lordy the portions were huge. But they gave a another beer, and then we shared a dessert. Apple and huckle berryopen face pie. It was awesome. Will go again. Oh i forgot, they gave us a 6 pack for free...oh yeah you know who took that..Goodole dad...lol Read more
The service we got on this place was amazing (which make the experience better), we got a garlic chips because of being the... first time we visit this place. We ask for the Breakfast Burrito and the Chilaquiles, both of them had a very good flavor. Read more
Came here for some appetizers and a drink around 9pm on a Friday. Busy but quick seating and fast service! I got the Queso Dip,... Bacon Candy, and some of their Sangria. My server was Nate and he recommended a blend of the White Peach with the Raspberry, andit was super refreshing! Nate was super friendly, quick, attentive, and had a lot of good recommendations! My husband and I had lunch there last Monday and it was amazing! The staff was amazing our waiter was super nice and he gave... really great suggestions as it was our first time there. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager and he made ourexperience there so much better. Hands down the best customer service we've had. Now the food. I have to say we were able to tryquite a few items including dessert (not featured as it was to go). Every single thing we ordered was delicious. The calamari ison a league of its own on uniqueness and taste. The pink sauce on my pasta was so delicious and creamy. We hadn't even finishedour meal and started planning our next trip to eat here. So excited to go again definitely worth our 2 and a half hour drive. Read more
