Attentive servers. We sat outside on a breezy, fall evening and were quite comfortable on the fenced in porch. Delicious walnut,... goat cheese and grilled chicken on salad, with roasted brussel sprouts (Much better than I thought, with bacon and very light,savory dressing). Every time I visit Oxford I go Volta. The food is delicious and the staff is super friendly. I usually get the chicken gyro and... falafel appetizer. They are delicious and very reasonably priced! The restaurant itself is really cool too, and it?s fun to bein when they pull the doors up. Read more
The food was fantastic. The appetizer was more than we could eat. The gyro was amazing. Even my dad who is a picky eater loved... it. The service was wonderful too. Kept my water glass filled, and was quick to deliver everything we needed. Plus they had somegreat local art on the walls. the food was alright, loved the hotty toddy balls. the service was kinda sad. we had an older lady as a waitress and she really... didn?t take good care of us. my friend didn?t have a drink when she got her food and we had to find her and wave her down to ourtable to get her a coke. she also slammed things down on the table aggressively. Volta is a must stop for me anytime I'm in Oxford. Seriously the best Greek food in Mississippi that I personally have eaten. So... many good options to choose from but I always gravitate back to the lamb and beef gyro. Something about having those thickcharred pieces of meat just always hits the spot and makes the typical thinly sliced ones every where else pale in comparison.Can't recommend this place enough.
