Went for lunch one day. Italian restaurant with no Italian wine. In fact there was no decent wine available at all. Food was... average. I only went once and decided it wasn?t worth going back. Our server was nice but pretty clueless about their beverage options and food. There are better options in Oxford square. If you want Italian I?d go to St Leo?s . I don?t think they havethe best Italian food but they do have a better experience overall. Read more

I am Italian so a good Italian restaurant is really important to me. I went to have a late Lunch with my friends and it was... amazing. Some friends recommend we try the mozzarella sticks and let me tell you, they are the best mozzarella sticks I everhad. Fun fact, on Mondays they have half-price on them and they have other offers that I can?t remember of but I think that?severy day they have something new. I had a chicken parmigiana and I wanted to order one to go because it was so good, thickchicken breast with good marinara sauce, and the pasta tasted like real parmesan cheese. My friend ordered a lasagna, I didn?ttry it but she said it was good. And my other friends order a bbq pizza and she loved it, she took some slices to go and anotherfriend tried it and she love it too. Service was amazing, the guy that served us was so nice and it seem he cared about hisjob. Prices were reasonable I been to another local restaurant and comparing to this one prices are good. The restaurant itselfis really pretty and it gives you Italian vibes. I will definitely be coming back and bringing some new people to try this food. Read more

First time here for me. I knew it was during the summer and the experience might not be the same. With that in mind, though,... it?s inexcusable to run out of a non perishable good such as wine at a place marketed to be a semi-fancy Italian restaurant. They had no Pinot Noir, no Chianti, and only the Three Wishes Merlot (which runs about $3/bottle) from that category. For thenext table that asked about wine, the waitress did not seem to know any more or less about the stock of wine they had. Food wasfine. Probably won?t go back again - there is better food and drink on the Square. Read more

Our waitress was lovely and the environment was very nice. We ordered the mozzarella sticks as our appetizer and they were... unlike any mozzarella stick I've had before. They lacked a little flavor but the cheese was so weirdly soft, I liked it andthought it was nice cause I've never had a cheese stick that stayed soft through the whole time eating it. My partner orderedthe Ceasar salad and I ordered the lasagna. My partner said her salad was decent and while I loved the flavor of the lasagna, Ithought it was very mushy. The texture threw off the experience cause the flavors were great. Overall not a bad experience. Read more

With no preconceived notions, we stumbled upon Venice Kitchen for lunch today. The atmosphere is friendly and well in keeping... with what you?d expect from a square adjacent Oxford restaurant. The decor is pretty unassuming, which immediately indicatesthat the food is the focus. The French 75 is one of their menu-listed cocktails, and it does not disappoint. Light on thegarnish and easy on the syrup, this one falls into the recommended category. The warm fresh bread with butter was an unrequesteddelight. The mozzarella sticks are not the usual thawed and fried version you expect. They?re more the size of pecan logs. Thecheese more than compensates for a bland marinara. Salad for me, chicken parm for my companion. We left stuffed. Their pizzamenu lists lots of great possibilities. We will be back. Read more

First time visiting Old Venice. Upon walking in my group was greeted and seated pretty fast. I ordered the Pasta Maria. It is... penne noodles with goat cheese, red sauce, and chicken. It was definitely different than any other pasta. My friends had pizzasand they loved it! Our server was very nice and she checked on us very often. Read more

Really good food. They have more than Pizza. I had Chicken Parmesan with Alfredo instead of Marinara. At first it looked over... cooked but it tasted great. Service was good too. The young lady that was our server was very nice. Read more

The upstairs of this place is called the Summit. This place is a small bar with a ski lodge decor. There is a small patio that... looks out towards the square. The pizza is Napoletana style. The Buffalo Chicken pizza is my favorite. They had some awesomespecials for a Saturday. $10 bottomless Mich Ultra. The bartenders are nice guys and very entertaining. Read more
