Our waitress was really sweet that's why I gave her three stars but she got my order completely wrong. Ordered a pomegranate... martini it tasted like pomegranate and water sent it back, and had a Coke, the two ladies next to us said their drinks weretasteless as well. Read more
Had a wonderful experience at Kings on a recent visit to Oxford on a football weekend. 4 in our group, two whom had never been... to Oxford previously. Kings accommodated us with an early reservation. The atmosphere, food, drink, and service were allexceptional. Price was reasonable. I highly recommend Kings. Read more
When we pulled up i thought they were closed, till the hostess opened the door and said they weren't. The pork porterhouse was... tasty. Unfortunately the service was really bad. Went in at around 4pm. Our party of 2 were the only ones there. I watched thempour my mom's wine and literally 6 employees just hanging out around the bar and that glass sat there over 15 minutes till Iasked if we could have it from someone who wasn't even out server. I have never seen that many employees just standing aroundwatching tv while customers go unchecked on. I'm not in a hurry to go back. Read more
Acceptable food but very poor service. Stopped in for an early dinner; we were the only people in the he place, numerous... employees, my drink sat on the bar for 15 minutes before we finally got someone to bring it to us. The food was very good, and the service was incredibly friendly! We had 10 in our group, and everyone walked away knowing they... had had a good meal. The restaurant lighting was a little dim, and made things a little hard to see, but other than that it wasa very nice meal! Read more
A hidden gem tucked off highway... dont let the exterior steer you away from this spot.... the staff are above and beyond... professional and nice... we arrived at 5 to just a few tables but quickly watched as even during a storm that knocked out thepower for almost an hour the place filled up quickly... on Thursday nights they have a boiled shrimp with sausage corn andbottomless beer special for only 25 you of course can do it without the beer for a little less but either choice is a goodone....the shrimp were delicious seasoned well med size and plentiful portions with all the refillable of shrimp sausage cornand potatoes you can eat... almost forgot about the bread with garlic butter spread ....chef was trying out a few other seasonoptions and we got to sample those as well with the same plentiful portion.... the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing we satin the bar area and even though the place is a bit dated looking the feel is like home will definitely return even though wewill be 2 Hours away this place is worth the return trip back plus we still have more if the menu to try.... This place is an alternative to square dining and offers genuinely good food. Overall a great pick if looking for a restaurant... that is conveniently located away from the square. Very good char-grilled oysters and the New York strip was amazing! Woulddefinitely recommend! Read more
Came to celebrate my husband's birthday. We waited for over 10 min for the server's to decide who's table we were. We ordered... one appetizer and were brought a different one. The food was decent but incredibly overpriced. First and last time going there. Read more
