This place does not take reservations so be prepared for a wait. Out estimated wait time was 2 hours - no problem they will... send a text. 2.5 hours later we are told there are 5 tables ahead of us. Getting excited (and hungry). 30 minutes later andgroup after group is being seated ahead of us. We are told our group of 4 is too small for the 6-8 person tables that are bebecoming available. 3.5 hours later we are told they are unsure when they can seat us and other large groups continue to goahead of us. food wise, this is the best restaurant in oxford in my opinion. everything is amazing. food is kind of expensive but it?s so... fresh that it?s fair. service is hit or miss not because the staff is bad but because it?s always so busy, so be aware of that!(like i said - it?s not the staff?s fault. everyone is always sooo busy. anyone who?s served can imagine how crazy it is to haveyour entire section filled within minutes of opening the doors.) anyway, the food is so incredible that probably no amount ofbad service could ever make me stop going. the tempura green beans, jinseviche, spicy tuna roll, and kobe wrapped asparagus aremy favs, but everything is delicious and fresh. wish they would expand the building, get more indoor seating, and get moreregular hours but i?ll take what i can get! if you?re on the fence, GO! This place is way more than 5 stars. It?s on another level. From the beginning to the end every bite is fantastic. The food is... 100% great. The service is just the same. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Very well run and a great experience. I?ll be backas much as possible and recommend to everyone. Read more

Very cool place with wonderful food and service. The freshest fish, attentive and knowledgeable wait staff, wonderful seasonal... cocktails. I had a smoky Salvador Dali themed cocktail that was perfect. We sampled many dishes including steam buns, the hotrock, spider roll, grilled edamame, and assorted nigiri, all delicious. Read more
Sushi was delicious! My boyfriend and I got two rolls of sushi, edamame, and River Rock Kobe. River Rock Kobe was an interesting... experience, and it was absolutely delicious... it melts in your mouth ???? (I've been craving it for weeks after). As for theatmosphere, not the best. Place was nicely decorated, but the seating... not comfortable. You practically sit on the floor andyou can't put your legs under the table. You're practically eating on two milk crates. Was expecting to wear better attire, butsome guests show up in sweatpants, slippers, and big T-shirts?? ???? other than that, our waiter was nice, food was great. Read more
