Went through drive through and got the family meal ($49.00) got home the tenders are decent but the bucket of fries and awful... taste like they were cooked in grease that they burnt some chicken tenders in. I don't recommend getting the fries today anyway.First time eating Guthrie's chicken and I'm not impressed at all. Read more
The food is not bad but a bit overrated imo. The service has not been great at my last visit or 2. 1st time I went, the credit... card machines were down. 2nd time was just ok the lady was not friendly. 3rd time was just the other night. I just got fries anda drink. My total was 5.00 and some cents. I gave the girl a $20 and she handed me back 55 cents. So I nicely said oh hey I gaveyou a 20 and you just gave me 55 cents. My change should have been 14.78. She said hang on and shut the window in my face. Whenshe opened the window she handed me .78 cents and I said umm no you owe me 14.00. Fast friendly service, food was hot, fresh and very delicious! Great addition to this side of oxford. Will definitely eat... again. (Edit) I like eating here because when I get off at night there aren't many options for "fresh food" but tonight10-26-22. I placed my order inside (wasn't in a hurry) and it was ready in 3 minutes after ordering which I thought was weirdsince they cook to order. My meal and my sons was room temperature and my wife's was room temperature but also hard as a brickand not edible. They had a "Manager" on duty but he obviously wasn't concerned with serving his customers with fresh food. Ivalue my money and i don't appreciate wasting it on what my family was served tonight. I must admit I've eaten here a few timesand this is the first time to experience this but your motto is fresh food cooked to order not fast food waiting in a warmer.However it definitely makes me hesitant to return or recommend to others who work hard for the money they earn. We got two buckets of chicken tenders for our tent at the Ole Miss football game. They looked great and tasted even better.... Picked them up at 10 am on Saturday and didn?t serve them until after the 11 am game. My wife kept them in a cooler withoven-heated bricks and wrapped the chicken in paper towel and then aluminum foil. They were still hot after the game.
