I came here because the reviews on Google and my experience was not the same. I gave it two stars because the restaurant is very... nice but the food is very adequate adequate. The proportions were ridiculous I got the goat cheese ravioli with two tiny piecesof Asparagus it was $14 for 3 pieces. Are you serious who's that gonna full a baby ?? I got the Margarita pizza it was OKnothing special about it, but it wasn't the worst thing I ate. Then I got a complimentary desert very tiny as you can see in thepicture below. I couldn't even choose my OWN dessert, they chose for me! They gave me marshmallow with dark chocolate. I do not even eat marshmallows like come on. I can also get a bigger dessert at the cheesecake factory or other restaurants for free.The only thing great about this meal was the complimentary bread. The bread was the only delicious meal I had here. The onlything is they give you ONE I had to ask 2 more times can i get bread. At Olive garden and other Italian restaurants they justlay out a basket of bread. Why do I have to keep asking?? I am not trying to watch my figure I love bread, like stop beingstingy with the bread. The last thing to this bad experience was my waiter her name was Barbara. She was not terrible but shewasn't great either. She was always in-and-out catering to other customers. I've had better experience at less fancyrestaurants. Maybe because it was kind of busy but I've been at restaurants where it was very busy and the staff are stillattentive. If I'm coming to a fancy restaurant I expect the service and the food to match the decorum. This is why I do not goto overly fancy restaurants because the food never matches!! The only thing this restaurant had was the look of being fancyWITHOUT any real QUALITY. What a waste of money I should ask for a REFUND!! I'll just stick to more simple restaurants withquality. Went in August of 2022, great experience! Place is tucked away just off the main drag, parking is easy. They have a small... outdoor patio, and a large inside dining area. The kitchen is open to the dining area, so if you're close, you get ashow. Everything we had was great! I loved the french onion soup, and the Caesar salad was really good. My brother had themussels and said they were the best he's had. Cocktails were really tasty, and the entrees - beef - were all perfectlycooked. Service is fantastic! I've been to pricier restaurants and not had service as friendly and attentive as here. It'snot cheap eats, but I I consider the prices good for the quality of food and service. I absolutely love this place. It’s consistently good. It’s kinda tucked away and in a strange area surrounded by office... buildings, but it’s definitely worth the visit. Service is always great. They have an open kitchen so you can see everythinghappening behind the counter. Perfect for casual dining and with it being so close to us, I don’t mind popping in when wedon’t know where to go. Excellent evening for me and my hubby. He did the roasted chicken; I had the Tuna, and we had the apple tart. Everything was... great. Our waitress was very attentive and bubbly. We went at 8pm and was pleased to be seated in the main dining area, which wealways prefer (We went through a period of being seated in an overflow area - not sure if overflow is what it’s called). Lately, I'm reserving 5 star reviews for places that exceed my expectations. I had pretty high expectations for Linwoods, and... they exceeded my high expectations. First of all, I really like linen table cloths, but I rarely see them in outdoor venues. Afresh linen table cloth is very reassuring, especially during a pandemic. Our server, Holly, was prompt and attentive withoutbeing intrusive. The menu, often a source of infectious particles, was printed on paper and was disposable. I know that for surebecause Holly crumpled them up when she collected them after we ordered. The menu items were a bit pricey, but reasonable forsuch a nice venue. I had French onion soup. It was excellent. I enjoy French onion soup, and I have ordered it at lots ofrestaurants. This French onion soup was among the best I have ever had. For my entrée, I had a cheeseburger. It was large,juicy, and it was prepared just the way I wanted it. It was delicious. There was not a separate person to bus our table, butHolly was just as good at removing items that we no longer needed as she was at bringing our next items to the table.
