I called last minute for a birthday delivery and Emily and Cup Cakery did not disappoint!!
I called from MD to to see if cupcakes could be delivered to a family member nearby in Owensboro. I worked directly with Brenda... and she went out of her way to make sure the cupcakes were delivered and we had everything we needed. Our family loved thecupcakes especially the peanut butter one. I placed an order for a Mother's Day surprise for my mom on the Thursday before Mother's Day. Even though it was semi short... notice, they were so wonderful and helpful!! I wasn't going to be able to make it home for Mother's Day due to college sports soI wanted to do something cool for my mom. I called, last minute decision, to get something special for my son?s 19th birthday; to be delivered to his college, in town. ... The lady I spoke with was so friendly and kind. I walked in at the end of March and placed an order for 2 cupcake pull apart cakes that looked like pokemon Pokeballs, for April... 30th. I showed examples of what I wanted. I was quoted at $68. I went in to pick up, day of, and there was a color missing. Thegentleman said he would add the black and to come back. I returned on my way to the party venue. The black was added, and arepictured below. There were approximately 30 cupcakes. They were unable to give an exact number, as they were already iced. Atcheckout, I was given a total of $90. I explained the quote and was told that the quote would be honored but seemed upset that Iwas given a lower priced and that they would talk to the person for the future. While serving, much of the icing slid off. Iended up paying $70. Flavor tasted no different than chain bakery. Our cupcakes were amazing last year, this year not so much. Read more
