Recently went in with a large group and the experience could not have been better! We were seated quickly and our server,... Taegen, was fantastic. She kept up with drink refills and asked about other items needed - extra rolls, butter, napkins, etc.The food came to the table quickly and all orders were exactly as ordered and at the perfect temperature. My sister and I were shopping in Owensboro so stopped here for dinner. Her steak was really good. My pork chop was good but... cooked just a tad too long. Everything else was good. Very popular place so instead of waiting an hour and 20 minutes we ate atthe bar. Service was great. We will eat here again when back in the area. Read more
What happened? This place used to be good. After a battle with Alpha Gal Syndrome I hoped for a great meal. We called and... were told that reservations were not needed. Once we arrived, giant posters informed us to call ahead and avoid the wait. Thatsounds like a reservation to me. We ended up waiting 45 minutes. Then another 15 to actually get seated. There were a lot ofservers doing nothing Plenty of help to buss the tables. The waitress was extremely rushed. 15 minutes to get drinks. 30minutes more to get the food. The majority of our food was not hot. (Party of 7). My steak was just ok. My ribs were dry andgrainy. Overcooked. The green beans tasted strange. The beer was flat. Nobody had a hot meal. We did not complain because itwould have taken another hour to get anything done. Within 10 minutes of my answering the online inquiry about my complaint,Jeff, one of the owners called me. We had a nice conversation and he said that he would review the camera footage of thatsection. He seemed to be extremely receptive of my suggestions and offered me a free meal. That is not what I was after, but tohave the problem corrected. I would much rather have a solid go to place to get a decent meal than a one time free lunch. Super delicious food, but last time I came here in person, we had a party of 10. It took 45 minutes for our table, and we booked... 2 hours ahead of time. This was on a Tuesday as well, so it's not like Friday night when everybody is out and about. Youremployees are very disorganized. And why do you need 3 staff members behind the counter?! It does not take 3 people to run acash register! In spite of everything, the food is tasty. So I can give you credit on that. Read more
