This is so the restaurant that steak and shake really wishes that it could be. I had not eaten in a ritzy's in probably 20 years... when I happen to cross this one in Owensboro. The flavor and quality was just like I remembered it. I am certainly glad that Iwill be traveling through the area more often. Read more
Food is always cooked to order and is really a decent value. Especially if you like old fashioned burgers that are more like the... kind you cook at home. Oh and if you are a chili lover like myself then I highly recommend the 7-way chili it is FANTASTIC. Read more

Very nastalgic, home-made ice cream place. Their grilled chicken wasn't really grilled, it was boiled to cook and then just... thrown on the grill for aesthetics. The fried chicken sandwich was better. The lettuce on the sandwiches was fresh. Thefloors were sticky and carpets need a good vacuum and shampooing. The staff were very, very friendly. They give a Jr size icecream in the children's meals. Their ice cream tastes good. They make real chocolate milkshakes by using chocolate ice creaminstead of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce but they will make either upon request. Read more
Great place to eat USUALLY. Tonight?s fries were hard as chewy. Tried out some from 3 orders of them and they were all like... that. Burgers and chili were great as usual. UPDATE : went there a couple of weeks ago and had a terrible experience. Chilitasted like it was burnt, the onion rings were WAY undercooked and staff was very unfriendly. Got a number from website to callin Evansville and left message and never received a call back. Read more
