I was very impressed with the food. The tacos are well seasoned and filling. Some of the better tasting Lomo and Barbacoa I've... found. Our server was very friendly and prompt. He kept our chips and drinks filled. My only issue was their menu itself. Theystill advertised the prices that appare5are changing. When I asked after receiving the bill the waiter told me they had a signin the door stating they are getting new menus and prices had increased. You cannot do that. At a minimum the prices could havebeen marked out in these outdated menu's. We didn't see the sign on the door until we were told about it and I read it on theway out. It was a small dry erase board that wasn't going to draw anyone's attention. Issuing out menus with a price other thanwhat you charge is false advertisement. Tacos are not 2.50, they are 3.25 now. Steak on the beach is now 10.99 vs 9.99. Beaware before going the prices are outdated as of this review. We will still return and the food is worth the new price. It justrubbed me wrong that you would still hand out the old menus setting us up to expect one price to bring me a receipt for adifferent price. At least have the staff notify customers as they are seated before unexpected surprises. Read more
We love it there. Excellent food. Drinks are wonderful. Staff is pleasant and friendly. Large menu. I love the tilapia and... shrimp. Steak fries are our favorite appetizer. My husband's favorite item is dish with steak, ham and pineapple. Read more

This place is great! We visited Owensboro for a night and needed food and we were so satisfied by our meal here. Don Mario's is... a great Mexican spot with large portions. The food was so delicious too! I strongly recommend the chicken quesadilla! Read more
$8 lunches that include a drink are a really nice deal in this town. Portion sizes were good and the food was good as well.... Limited indoor seating but outdoor seating is available weather permitting. Read more
The fajita chimichanga are awesome and I can't remember what the pork dish was called but it was great also
