Such a unique 50's style diner ???? Drove past here en route to Tobermory and swore I would come back here on my way home... (which I did, with no regrets!) As soon as you walk in you are awed by all the retro memorabilia. Your eyes definitely neverget bored inside this place as there is always something to stare at. The menu has a plethora of different options it was sodifficult to decide what to get. Everything was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to one day hopefully come back here andtry one of their milkshakes because even though I had my heart and mind set on one, I was just way too stuffed after mymeal. 5/5 stars for this gem of a place ?? This place is ravishing as it looks like in the pictures. Well maintained and clean washrooms. The patio was really attractive... and colourful, we had to stop here on our way back from Sauble beach looking at the colourful patio. The customer service wasgreat and quick. We had our quick bites and grabbed ice cream cones. Every flavour tasted delicious, my favourite was cherry andCookie Monster. We clicked a lot of pictures and really had a great time. Read more
Located inside the diner under the name Lucky Lou's, we ordered the Cookie Monster and Big Canoe. Really tasty and generous... portions for a single scoop. The staff are amazing and very friendly. Visiting the area, or heading to Tobermory, stop by andindulge in some summer vibes !! Read more
Its a well known diner with retro feel to it. Its famous amongst tourists returning back from Tobermory. The portion sizes of... the breakfast options are quite filling. We had following Retro breakfast- 5/5 Kid?s meal- 5/5; good option while dining withthe kids Pasta- 5/5; can be made veg. on request It gets very busy during the brunch times. So, plan for that. Amazing restaurant for brunch. We had fun trying local food while our time there in Owen Sound. 5 star for manager Kris over... there, who managed 15 people who just showed up (we didn?t know they take reservation) Our server Jo wasn?t happy I guess.Couldn?t get our order for almost 1 hour even though it was ready in kitchen. Great place for a breakfast or brunch, also looks like they have great selection of other classic meals and burgers not to... mention milkshakes! The Elsie?s breakfast was big and hit the spot!
