Flies were everywhere. One landed and died in my wife's dumplings. Food was drenched in sauce. Management didn't even care to... comp meal. Brought a new plate of dumplings but that's about it. Flies were still there and a major issue. Staff was coolthough. Wouldn't go back.... Ever Read more
I?ve been ordering from Kyoto for over a year and will continue doing so. My meal tonight was so good I had to get on here and... give the staff here kudos. My thing is ordering takeout from Kyoto. It?s extremely convenient. Order online, get an estimatedpickup time, show up on time, and grab your meal through your car window. An entire hibachi meal if you want. The staff do agreat job wrapping everything so make sure to tip them. They just added a Yellowtail (hamachi) jalapeño appetizer to the menuand it was GREAT! They gave me thick slices too! I was so impressed! The eel roll was terrific as well. It comes with 6 pieceseven though the picture only shows 5 ???? Look at the picture of my steak hibachi dinner! The portions were big, and the steakwas cooked perfectly. Nice and tender with a little pink in there. I recommend upgrading to the NY Strip?it?s worth it. So I generally go to Kyoto bc my son loves the sushi there. We ended up going for lunch which outside they advertise lunch... special for 10.95 for two rolls and a salad. I get there and they charge me more and when I brought it to their attention theysaid oh we had to go up on our prices (which I can understand since everything is going up) but they shouldn?t advertisesomething else. The employee said that it has been brought up that they need to change the sign. I told them the sign is chalkthat could have been wiped off and redone. So I?m upset that the falsely advertise a price at the entrance and then wouldn?thonor it. And they are doing it on purpose since they know about it and could easily change it. When I left it still hadn?t beencorrected. I didn?t give a one star because the waitress was nice and food was good. But I really don?t like the dishonesty. Read more
Kyoto in Oviedo recently catered an event for us. Lets get the obvious out of the way first. The food was delicious. To be more... specific it was hot, it was fresh, and the steak in particular was quite tender and delicious. What really impressed me was thatthe food was ready on time and also the presentation in particular the Sushi Rolls was amazing. I went here to take my friend out for sushi on her birthday. I thought it would be a nice experience, but it wasn?t. The food... and drinks were very slow to be ready. The workers had attitudes. The sushi was alright for the price that?s the only reason I?mgiving 2 stars, although I almost choked on mine and wayyy too much cucumber was added to my friend?s California rolls (as youcan see in the picture. Also worst of all they messed up on our bubble teas. Both mine and my friend?s were bland and had noflavor. She ordered a coconut milk tea and I ordered a matcha milk tea slush as I have at many places before; when the drinkscame out we couldn?t even tell which was whose. The matcha one didn?t even look green it was pale? basically I was sipping onunsweetened milk and ice. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be coming back! Read more
